Love Dr Carol she was clear in explaining patient in answering my question. I felt she would be able to do a great job and she did my eyes are so much better. I only have one set of eyes, and I'm grateful she made them a priority to give the best service. I would go back to her if needed and I would recommend her to both family and friends she is great and the office is nice.

I was referred to Dr McEwan by my eye doctor in Morehead City for cateract surgery. I was greeted by a cheerful receptionist & everyone that treated me was very polite, caring, & professional. Dr. McEwan went above any expectations I had for a surgeon. In other words, I was fearful to have surgery on my eyes. And Dr. McEwan, a well trained specialist in his field displayed a caring, calming spirit that made me feel confident that everything would be alright. His expertise surely shown through. Now that I can see the world clearly, I owe him much appreciation for taking the tedious time to make it happen. I am beyond grateful to him & my God. Thank all of you so much. God will bless you!!! And if you need eye surgery, this is the doctor for you.👁 👁

I showed up 15 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment time, and wasn’t called back until 20 minutes after it was supposed to begin. I saw 2 different optometrists before finally seeing the actual doctor, with additional waiting periods in between. A visit that shouldn’t have taken more than 30-45 minutes took over 2 hours.

Dr. Try is professional, knowledgeable, engaging, and thorough. All staff we worked with were also excellent. Couldn’t have been a more pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

I've been here a few times over the last 5 or 6 yrs. I started off with an eye injury and the doctors and staff were all great. The last time I was here, 2 yrs ago now, it took a while to get through. Yes, they have a waiting room in the back, but they do have to have you wait for your eyes to dialate after their initial exam. It's nice that that room is in the back & not having you go back or front to wait as then the brightness could bother you. My complaint is with the insurance department actually doing what they say. I'm a veteran (& my real name is not used for reviews) & have VA coverage as insurance. I had an appt scheduled for LAST SPRING (2025) and they called to cancel my appt the day before as my VA referral had expired. Ok, I get it, they have to have an active referral in order for the VA to pay, but why wait until just the day before. Worse - it's been a year now of me calling every 2-3 months asking about the status of my VA referral. The last time I called, I was told by Wendy that the referral was in on March 19th. Well, when I went to a VA appt this past Friday, I asked them to look up the referral to see the status of it. THERE WAS NO REFERRAL FOR EYE CARE. Here I thought that the VA was being extremely slow, but yet I've had other referrals for chiro care, mental health, etc go through the VA in the time that Office Park couldn't do. & Yes, those other providers submit for the referral renewal, yet the staff at this place told me I'd have to do it, though I told them they they do it like everywhere else. Well, I got called by the VA referral people less than an hour after my appt this past Friday, so it def wasn't the VA being slow. I am going to try a different eye clinic since this place doesn't seem to want my business. I'll be in sometime soon to get a copy of all of my records -then you'll know who I really am. Sorry, DR. Ski, it's not you, it's the office staff in the back.
