Dr. Walter’s is awesome. She makes you feel very welcomed and comfortable. Very knowledgeable as well! I’ve had two situations where I needed to come in quickly - they had me in the chair less than ten minutes and had me out of the office less than 30-45 minutes later. I have found my eye doctor!

Dr. Walters is fantastic and this review is not a reflection of her care. I placed an order for glasses 5 weeks ago and have received no information regarding their arrival despite multiple texts and phone calls with voicemails left. I could only get them to answer the phone one time at the 3 week mark and the only information they could give me was that the glasses weren’t there yet. I was told it would take no longer than a week for them to arrive. As a healthcare professional and business owner myself, this is completely unprofessional and unacceptable, patients should never have to suffer due to staff incompetence or understaffing. There has been a large amount of turnover with the glasses specialists during my years as a patient here and I’ve heard of others waiting months to receive their orders or orders not being placed at all with previous employees. There is clearly a problem here that no one is attempting to fix. If I could give this business a zero, I would. I will never be placing a glasses order from here again. I may continue to see Dr. Walters and order elsewhere because she is the best eye doctor I’ve ever had and this review does not pertain to her.
Very upset right now. We live over an hour away, and my grandson had an appointment today. His grandfather drove all the way there to find out that the doctor was not there. The receptionist failed to contact us. We had to pull our grandson out of school, and not to mention the gas expense, for nothing. I don't appreciate it at all. Customer service is not what it used to be, and no one cares about what consumers have to go through these days. If I could change doctors, I would. This office is the only office around here that accepts Medicaid. Poor customer service for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2nd Review 4/13/2026: If I could rate this business a zero, I would. This is the last time my family will endure the worst customer service ever at an eye doctor's office. I can promise you. My grandson had broken his glasses, and we've been waiting a couple of months for them to come into the office. We called today to check on them, and they haven't even been ordered, not to mention it takes 3 months for them to come into the doctor's office. My seven-year-old grandson is having to go without his glasses for months, which is affecting his schoolwork. This business does not care about its patients, let alone little children. We will never go back! The best advice that I can give anyone is to stay away. Go somewhere where the office staff actually cares about their patients and are educated. Stay away!
Doctors are kind and helpful. Office staff is not very helpful and would give excuses for things not being done. We had to wait 8 weeks for them to realize they didn't even put the order in for my son's glasses. This is with multiple calls inquiring about them.
I am giving 2 stars because I was able to get a same day appointment for an eye issue. Once getting there everything went downhill. I drive an hr to get there and won’t be back. I only got to se the actual Dr for maybe 5 mins tops. The student Dr spent more time in the room and I spent time just waiting for the Dr. She said the student made a diagnosis and that I would have 2 prescriptions. One would be shipped to my house and the other was local pharmacy pick up. When I got there to pick it up my pharmacist advised it was in the class of drugs I was allergic too. That was in my records already. The pharmacist and myself called the drs office to get another prescription and no call back or new medication. So 4 days after the visit and my eye issue no better. I won’t be back!
