Everyone here – from reception, to technicians, to the physicians - is wonderful! My relative with Alzheimer’s dementia is treated courteously, respectfully and kindly. They seem to go out of their way to accommodate her needs, and I very much appreciate it.

The care I received at OCB for a torn retina (Dr. Chin) & cataract (Dr. Rao) surgeries has been exceptional throughout. I highly recommend OCB for any & all all medical needs involving vision.

The doctors and technicians here are phenominal! Last year I had a torn retina which they fixed for me. This week it was a follow-up to make sure the drain in my eye was still working well. Everything was fine, the scheduled me for a follow-up in 18 months (many systems can't handle scheduling that far out). Unlike many places, they gave me alternative options for my weakening vision and not just expensive prescription glasses. Highly recommend!

Review of my visit to Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston at 104 Endicott St Danvers MA Overall Rating: 1/5 I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of care and the lack of professionalism at this facility. Below are the key issues I encountered: Failure to Address the Medical Issue: My primary problem (acute eye pain and inflammation) remains unresolved. Refusal of Urgent Care: When I first arrived with severe eye pain, the clinic refused to see me, despite it being an urgent matter. Inappropriate Procedures: Instead of addressing my immediate pain and inflammation, I was forced through a standard vision exam. This was extremely uncomfortable and physically painful given the state of my eyes. Unsanitary Conditions: This is my biggest concern. During my exam, I was moved through several rooms. Not once did the assistants or the doctor disinfect the equipment in front of me. In every other clinic I’ve visited, staff always use sterile wipes on the forehead and chin rests before the patient touches them. This is a massive hygiene violation, especially when dealing with potentially contagious eye conditions. Lack of Patient Care & Follow-up: Neither the doctor nor the assistants showed any genuine interest in my well-being; they simply followed a rigid "vision check" routine. At the end of the appointment, the doctor mentioned a referral to a specialist (Dr. Olshansky, if I heard correctly) and promised their office would call me. It has been a week, and I have received no calls or emails. Administrative Disconnect: While failing to provide the urgent referral I needed, the receptionist still made sure to book me for a "routine check-up" for next year. This shows that the clinic is more interested in future billing than solving a patient's current medical crisis. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking professional or sanitary medical care.

I don't know whether to trust my Dr or not. One day he tells me that a laser treatment could fix my Posterior Vitreous Detachment, and a month later he tells me laser doesn't really work!!! He's too nonchalant for my taste!!
