The Albany billing office incorrectly billed me for medical codes and charged significant fee. I saw Dr. Harrow, who spent 5 minutes and said all is good. Instead of billing for my routine eye insurance they charged on my medical insurance for things that are not related to this visit and are not willing to change while knowing that this is a mistake. I was never informed that this was a medical visit either during the visit or checkout.

All around terrible experience; incredibly rushed, it feels like a conveyor belt in there. Every provider takes about 5-7 minutes per patient. All medical assistants are in a terrible mood, probably because of how poorly they’re paid. I would recommend finding an alternative clinic. Management needs to increase the pay of their employees and reduce the number of patients seen daily.

Update: They have since got rid of this doctor and I am scheduled to see a more professional experienced doctor who fits my needs. I'm glad to see a company who listens to the public when it comes to their patience needs. This was well overdue for not only the patience but the staff as well. The way George O. Stasior, dismissed me, and my symptoms was an abuse of power and negligence. This doctor kept dismissing me and my eye problems. To a degrading degree. I said I tried this it doesn’t work I have chronic eye pain I need doxy or something other than over the counter medication and old school remedies like warm compresses . He said there’s no treatment . You need to follow these steps I know what I’m talking about. I said I DID THAT it doesn’t work! Hot compresses and a generic eye drop doesn’t work for my eyelids or dry eye I need prescription strength it’s past this point. He said “listen I’m the expert I know. Right now your eyes aren’t inflamed so you don’t qualify for Doxy, if you want Doxy your eyes need to be inflamed.” I said well I can’t control when they’re inflamed right now they’re fine and I have concealer on so how do you even know if they’re inflamed or not and he said “I can tell”. I said well I have chronic pain every day in my eyes generic over-the-counter stuff doesn’t work. He said well you need to do it this way And I’m not giving you a higher dose of Doxy or doxy in general until we exhaust these options. So I went up to the front counter and she said when would you like your next appointment? I said I do not want to see this doctor again. He kept dismissing me. I’m so mad right now I could cry. And she felt really bad and she said no problem at all. I’m so sorry. Feel free to head out And was really nice. This is a prime example of old school careless doctors who do not care about their patients and would rather just push paper to get to there next patient. This man does not want to hear anything you have to say and goes off appearance of your eyes that day. I didn’t know you could see pain DR George? I didn’t know you were dealing with this pain for 15 years like I have. I didn’t know I had to have symptoms that day in order to be treated for the symptoms I’ve been dealing with and the chronic pain I tried telling you. This doctor should be reported and nobody should see him, especially the way he spoke to me like I’m an idiot

We were there for 3 hours. Took a family member to get glasses and the way the staff handled being in the waiting room to being in the appt was disorganized. While in the waiting room, we sat there for 1 hour and half past our appt time. Mentioned to the receptionist that we had been waiting a hour and she had said based on her computer screen we were already back in the room. Once we were finally in a room, no one had checked on us for 40 mins. After the time had passed , they came in to see how the testing went when we had no tests done. They had confused us with another patient that had been helped a hour before. We know that, because the other patients tests where in my family members chart. After nurses come in to correct the mistake, they did minimal tests. Then we were told to go to another room to see a doctor that we were not scheduled with because everyone went home. The doctor that came in was under the impression that my family member needs surgery. We clarified that no surgery is in our interest and we just need glasses. The doctor then gave us a new Prescription but since everybody went home we could not get the glasses made. We then checked out and the receptionist asked us when we would like to schedule surgery. After much frustration, we left. No glasses. 3 hours later.

The nursing staff was wonderful and very helpful. Dr. Harrow on the other hand, was very rude and unpleasant. He spoke in the hallway to the nursing staff about other patients and downplaying their symptoms because his schedule was booked with urgents. I waited 2hrs in order to get roomed which I knew was going to be a long wait due to other reviews. Dr. Harrow came into the room and left within less than 2 minutes while also downplaying my new and worsening symptoms by saying "that's it?". He mentioned he was going to prescribe me with eye drops but never stated what for, when to take it, or etc.
