Optometrist Inside LensCrafters

Everyone who worked at the LensCrafters in Colonie Center helped me. They were very patient and kind. I was able to get an eye exam, pick out frames, and get glasses made all in about 2 hours time which is great. I broke my glasses and this was the only place who would make them that same day. Thank you to everyone who helped me!

My deepest apologies to the LensCrafters representative. I hope I’m getting his name right? Matthew, who was in incredible. He deserves a raise!! Saying that I got the Class A treatment is an understatement. Customer service is so terrible today that you almost want to pay a person just because they’re being nice to you when you come into their place of business. I have been disappointed about not being able to wear my pair of Prada sunglasses, that I purchased a few years ago but only could enjoy them for maybe a year and was not able to use them because the nose tabs came off and according to The Sunglass hut reps, they were a different kind of screw on and no longer available. I got nowhere with them, even though I spent sooo much money on these sunglasses. I was at the Crossgate mall recently and a young man who has only been working at The Sunglass hut for a month and a half, referred me to Lens Crafters. That’s where I met Matthew, who greeted me with a smile and a great hello and he was very positive, willing to help me. He actually did help me…after years of not being able to wear these sunglasses that I really liked a lot. He fixed them within 2-3 minutes. He was gracious and I really appreciate his time, his patience, and his willingness to listen to my story. He told me to come back anytime and he sent me on my way with a great big smile, and it didn’t cost me one cent…I might add. I truly hope that I have his name right, that it is Matthew. If I don’t, I’m gonna come back on here and set the record straight. I apologize profusely for taking so long to write this review because I should’ve done it right away. If you want great customer service with a smile, I would suggest to go to LensCrafters at Crossgates. I can’t speak on any other Lens Crafters store but this young man was great and he made my day 🤗💃🏾

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Gutmaker. He was incredibly helpful, took the time to explain everything clearly, and patiently answered all of my questions. I never felt rushed and truly appreciated the care and attention he provided throughout my visit. Dr. Gutmaker is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about his patients. His ability to explain complex information in an easy-to-understand way made me feel comfortable and confident in my care. I highly recommend Dr. Gutmaker to anyone looking for exceptional eye care. A top-notch doctor and a truly positive experience.

Shaista was very kind and helpful during my visit. I came in for an adjustment on my glasses since my son threw them off the counter. She knew exactly what to do and tightened my glasses perfectly and also made sure I was happy with it. Super kind and sweet

I had a wonderful experience. Shoutout to Angelina for her professionalism and excellent customer service!! Without even asking she helped me find the best coupons / deals for my prescription lens. She helped me save A LOT of money and I couldn't be happier.
