The staff throughout the office is friendly, kind and courteous. I have never had to wait long which I appreciate. The staff who perform the initial tests make you feel comfortable and let you know what to expect for each procedure. Madeline fitted me for glasses and was exceptional. She listened to what I needed then choose several frames to try which fit my face and met my needs. I wanted lenses put in my current sunglasses. Even though the frame had been discontinued she was able to find the lenses to go in them. When I went to have them both fitted Madeline made sure they fit perfectly. Great experience!

My son and I have been coming to see Dr. Barger for a few years now and every time I come everyone is incredibly kind, professional, and beyond helpful. Special thanks to Madeline today for spending so much time helping me find the right glasses among other things and Hope for helping me in the past with getting my contacts set up! They’ve got a great crew here.
I had a great experience at this eye doctor’s office. From the moment I arrived, everyone was very welcoming and helpful. The staff took the time to answer all of my questions and address any concerns I had throughout the entire process—from the eye exam to picking out my eyewear. Everyone was kind and professional, but Madeline and the nurse who checked me in truly stood out. They made the experience especially comfortable and positive. I really appreciate the level of care I received and would definitely recommend this location to friends and family who are looking for an eye doctor.
Dr Barger understands my complicated eyes and how to get them to work well together. So grateful. For years, mostly for financial reasons, I would order my glasses from Costco but because of the differences in my eyes, I was frustrated with the quality and difficulty it was getting used to new lenses. This year, I took Dr. Bargers advice and ordered my new glasses from his office. I've had them in for one day and can already tell the difference. The quality of the lenses (progressive and transitions) are top notch. I also want to give a shout out to the staff. From the moment I checked in for my exam to the selection of my frames, everyone was very friendly and helpful. I recommend giving Opticology a try.
If there were 50 stars I'd select them all separately for every single person who has worked with me and my daughter. Every single person I have been around or been seen by here has been irrefutable evidence that PEOPLE, real life people, still work in healthcare. I have been here twice with my daughter (once for each of us, her tagging along with me as well) and the staff here has dealt with me and my daughter like we were the only people being seen that day. I actually didn't dread going after the first visit. Such a refreshing feeling to walk into a business, (y'know, that's all healthcare seems to be anymore) and feel seen and taken care of as a patient and not a number, burden, time sink etc.. the list goes on. You will be impressed. Especially if you have a little one that is as inquisitive and outgoing as my toddler.
