Optics Unique

Our family has gone to Optics Unique for years and have always been pleased with the Dr's and the staff. They have a wide variety of glasses and do their best to make sure the fit and prescriptions are correct. Feels like you are being treated by family and would always highly recommend!

Have been a patient here for 10 plus years… things have changed. Staff is not helpful. I called to verify my benefits before my appointment next week, she refused to give it to me until “2 days before my appointment”. (Not sure why) I asked politely to get the information now, and she laughed while saying ok sarcastically… put me on hold and hung up. Very very unprofessional and unpleasant. I run a business and would not tolerate this unethical behavior from my team members. Needless to say our client/patient relationship is officially terminated. Save yourself the troubles. Get another optometrist.

When purchasing glasses I wouldn't recommend this place I bought some Oakley's a year ago and the lenses they put on them didn't fit correctly, so the frames were wider and they didn't even fit me like the pair I tried on before actually purchasing the glasses, the lady had the nerve to say that I knew they were wide. Hmm when I tried them on and decided to purchase them they fit fine, REASON why I purchased them 🤦🏽‍♂️. So her repair was to bend them inwards, I didn't like the fact that they physically bent them, so I said no fix them correctly and they had to send them off again. They took forever, a year later these lenses are garbage, the shade "film" came off, the lenses are scratched, no anti glare or anything, they look like very very cheap lenses. Update: Found out they sold me the frames and lenses (me currently pricing online) instead of RX Oakley prescribed lenses they kept those and put some cheap lenses with a film and of course that film came off what a con artist optical place 🤦🏽. Get your exam done , BUT DO NOT purchase glasses from here!

We loved optics unique! Every employee was wonderful to us and exceptionally kind. Dr. Gray was awesome, addressed everything in detail and was very helpful. He didn't try to scare us with words we didn't understand, but explained everything in full and allowed us to leave the office with confidence in what he shared with us. Reasonable pricing as well. We would recommend them and we will be back!

I’ve been going to Mr. Dr. Gray for a few years now and have greatly appreciated his calm demeanor, and I respect his guidance while he respects my wishes as well. (Not wanting certain medications, etc.) today I had an appointment and the assistant that helped me was wonderful! She talked me through every step (rather than those who just herd you along, feeling vulnerable in a dr. office without your glasses) and she explained the tests she’s was doing, and what the tests were used for. I felt completely at ease, and like I actually knew why they were doing the tests that they were doing. Her name is Cicely. Thank you!
