Optix eye in Weaverville is a very good eye place. They are very thorough and make sure you understand everything. I saw Dr. Crouch and she was very informative and always takes her time. I have never felt rushed or had to wait very long to be seen. Would recommend them and do so to friends&family.
I am so pleased with our visit to Optix Eye Care. First of all, I had an emergency type need for an appointment for my 6 year old daughter because our current eye doctor's office is without a regular doctor for the time being. The triage nurse listened carefully over the phone to my concerns about my daughter possibly having something in her eye that we were unable to locate/help with and responded promptly after discussing my concerns with Dr. Crouch with a same-day appointment. We felt we were treated as valued patients even though this was our first experience with Optix Eye Care. All staff were super friendly and Dr. Crouch was wonderful! She was super confident, calm and efficient-- able to diagnose quickly that my daughter did indeed have something under her eyelid/scratches on her cornea and turned what could have been a pretty traumatic event for a 6 year old into an extremely non-invasive quick fix-- she MAYBE took 10 minutes tops to diagnose the problem, locate the tiny foreign object and remove it! Not because she was hurried- simply calm, knowledgeable and efficient. Such a relief for Mama and child! I highly recommend!
Dr. Kim Crouch is extremely diligent. She obviously cares about her patience. I appreciated the time she took to explain exactly what I need to do 8 decades into my life to improve and protect my vision.
