This may genuinely be the best staff I’ve ever encountered at any location, for anything. Turnaround time was impressive. I picked up two pairs of glasses just nine business days after my exam. Melanie assisted me throughout my entire appointment and was very kind and sweet to me. The experience felt more like hanging out with a friend than a medical visit, and everything felt very personalized. She clearly explained the screening process, was incredibly patient as I navigated the machines, and immediately put me at ease. There wasn’t a hint of condescension, which unfortunately has not been my experience at another LensCrafters location in the city. This was my first optometrist visits and Dr. Johnson explained everything in a clear and digestible way and even took the time to draw things out (on paper) to thoroughly explain how my ADHD medication was contributing to the symptoms I was experiencing. I really appreciated how he leaned into my concerns rather than dismissing them, especially around something I already had doubts about. He was reassuring and generous with information. This experience genuinely restored my faith in healthcare providers, especially in an age of increasing and excessive dependence on Ai when we SHOULD be talking to human experts. After the exam, Melanie helped me choose frames and even picked out some trendy options she thought I’d like, and DID. Melanie also carefully compared my insurance coverage with available discounts and found that purchasing in store was actually the more affordable option. My glasses were ready in about two weeks. I recommend this LensCrafters location to anyone as indecisive as I am.

I always go to this LensCrafter store. Dr. Johnson is professional and personable. He listens well and explains things clearly. I also appreciate the associate, Nina, at this store. She always helps me find the best frames and is extremely well-versed in how to best utilize ones eye insurance.

Once again came to this location and got great service. Dr. Ettinger who educated me on the best path forward for my eye health and very kind; she is a wealth of knowledge and so warm. Then the Optician Vinette was just stellar. Chill vibe and explained everything well. No pressure to purchase anything and customize everything very well for my best interest. Manager Natanya oversaw the interaction to make sure I was getting the best service. They really have great teamwork here, going above and beyond here. Thank you!—Life Long Customer Ismael

12/10 experience today! A huge shoutout to Alfredo for helping me with my order. I initially came in just for an eye exam and contact lens exam so I could place an order online afterward. I told him exactly what I was looking for and shared the price I had been quoted on the Ray-Ban website. He was completely transparent about not being able to price match the online quote, but he went above and beyond to explore my options. To my surprise, the total for the Ray-Ban Meta 2 Large frames, prescription lenses, and transition lenses came out to the exact same price as the Ray-Ban website quote (excluding the cost of my exams). I was hype because it meant I didn’t have to worry about accidentally entering my prescription incorrectly online. I’d also like to thank the doctor for taking the time to listen to my concerns, recommending contact lenses that better fit my work style and daily computer use, and even suggesting specific eye drops after my exam had already concluded. I don’t usually write reviews, but the level of service and care I received today made this one impossible not to write. Thank you all for such a fantastic experience! Definitely making this my permanent eye doctor. The store was beautiful btw!

EDIT: Amazing amazing customer service. Original review: Never again! I went there with my frames from Oakley, looking to get prescription on my sunglasses. I asked them to keep the tint the same: color torch. In the pic, you’ll see the original glass as hot orange, vs their work which is purple/green. I went to the store to verify they had not made a mistake. They said they’d look into it, and just sent them back to me via delivery a day later with the mistake on them. I will go within the next few days (again) to make sure I get what I paid for, as they charge over $400 for the prescription! But wanted to let you know. If you’re considering them for your optical needs, BEWARE. EDIT: update! I changed from the previous 2 stars rating to 4. They called me immediately after I posted the review (were super nice) and I’m going there tomorrow to fix this. I’ll change from 4 to 5 stars ⭐️ when all is fixed. Thanks! Last note: The way they owned a mistake, made sure to correct it, and followed through perfectly made me change my review to five stars. I’ll definitely be going again and I recommend them. Wow with their customer service.
