I was very disappointed by the lack of transparency when scheduling my appointment. When I called, I was not informed that Stanton Optical did not accept my insurance to cover the eye exam, which I specifically asked the man on the phone about twice. That is information that should be communicated clearly before asking someone to take time out of their day, drive to the office, and show up for an appointment they ultimately cannot use their insurance for. To be fair, the staff I interacted with in the office were friendly, kind, and professional, and I have no doubt they provide good customer service once you are actually there. My issue is specifically with the scheduling process and the failure to disclose something as basic and important as insurance coverage beforehand. Whether intentional or not, the experience left me feeling as though the priority was simply getting me through the door rather than being transparent about what services would actually be covered. That approach feels misleading and, frankly, a little slimy. I strongly recommend that Stanton Optical train staff handling appointment calls to clearly address insurance coverage at the time of scheduling. Respect your clients’ time enough to give them the information they need before they make the trip. This was an unnecessary waste of my time and could have been avoided with one straightforward conversation. Do better.

Stanton Optical made my first experience here so easy! The staff was nice, especially Mr. Ismael Ortega. He was very friendly and helped me find the perfect glasses I needed. He made sure I did not leave out of there until I was satisfied.

I purchased two sets of glasses from Stanton optical. And every time I have been in to have my glasses adjusted I have been treated horribly. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back however. I went in for a adjustment to my glasses, and waited for about half an hour. When the gentleman whom attended me helped me, I could tell I had already made him mad by him having to do his job. I have a new prescription, I will roll the dice online. Nevermore will Stanton optical see a dime of my money. Peace & chicken grease.

This place is legit. Halfway through the exam, the technician shared with me the results and gave me the option to continue or to stop with no charge and shared with me that I didn't need any glasses. Honest place with good professionalism. Everyone in here including the doctor looks like they just got out of high school so don't be put off by that. They still know what they're doing.

Made me wait an hour+ for my glasses and purposely saw every other person on the sheet other than me. I would like to add this occurred around 5 pm June 17th and the male worker was straight up ignoring me and had rude comments when interacting with me. I did escalate this issue after the fact and was given the number to HR by another location and made a formal more detailed report.
