I made an appointment for today at noon and even arranged to work from home so I could make it there during my lunch break. When I arrived, I was told there was no record of my appointment. I double-checked my phone and confirmed that I had called the correct number and scheduled the appointment at the correct location. As Jerry Seinfeld famously said, "You know how to take the reservation, you just don't know how to hold the reservation... and that's really the most important part." The person at the front desk was courteous and did offer to fit me in later that day, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, I had already made the trip and had a full workday ahead of me, so staying wasn't an option. It was a frustrating waste of time that could have been avoided if my appointment had been properly recorded.

I came for a vision exam and replacement contacts. Both the optometrist and the optician were pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. There is also a very good choice of eyeglasses. I will come back here for new glasses.
I made an eye exam appointment through zocdoc, however, when I arrived at the store, it turned out that I was out of network. So sadly, I had to cancel my appointment. However, people working at the store and the doctor were amazingly kind and helpful during the process. So I’m giving five star review for their niceness ☺️
I had an appointment at OPTYX, 1125 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10075, and the experience was excellent. From the easy online scheduling to the minimal wait time, the clinic runs with impressive efficiency. I was seen promptly, and my doctor was both professional and personable, making the visit comfortable and reassuring.
Was a short visit. Granted it was my a long time since my last optometrist visit. Dr. Lawrence was professional, kind and informative. I wouldn't recommend anyone else but her. I strongly encourage you get your eyes checked by her. The staff is kind and inviting and the store is clean and very well kept. Thanks OPTYX and thank you Dr. Lawrence!!!
