I have been experiencing diminishing eyesight and was very scared of what I was going to be told at my appointment. I was scared to the point of tears and Mary was so patient and caring with me, listening to my concerns. She didn’t make me feel embarrassed for crying. The receptionist (I didn’t get her name). She was so sweet and apologized for me receiving many texts about my appt. She stated the issue will be addressed but she was just very sweet and even though she was the only one working the desk (partner was on break) and very busy she didn’t let it show and didn’t make us feel rushed. Dr. Riedel was amazing and turns out the loss of sight is due to worsening cataracts. Best case scenario. He took the time to explain next steps, what I can expect and what my options will be. I really can’t say enough about this clinic and it staff. If you are looking for a place to go I highly recommend Eyehealth Northwest-Providence. You will be happy you did!

The receptionists need a lesson in treatment to disabled patients. I was not treated well at all. Half of my body is injured and have to take a medic ride to see the doctor it’s a whole thing… then walk in and find out that they scheduled you at another location. They were not apologetic, didn’t care. Also nobody rescheduled me It was so overwhelmingly, disappointing that I will not be returning to this office.the older brunette receptionist was the worse… She was talking so loud and pushed me aside…. Boo
Great customer service ! Took their time answering all the questions I had with both of my children. One having minimal needs the other one having more extreme needs. Didn’t even mind driving the distance. If I had to go to a different location that was not closer to our home, this would be a great second option.
I was very happy with my first appointment with Dr. Le. He was amiable, thorough, and answered all of my questions. In addition, the front office staff were pleasant and check-in was smooth and efficient. There was almost no wait time. I had just started to fill out the New Patient form when my name was called. Last but not least, the assistant who performed the testing and measurements was friendly and easy to work with.
(Dr.Riedel) The staff were efficient and friendly. The appointment was for my 10 year old and they were all so wonderful with her. She felt comfortable and they answered all her questions about her vision and astigmatism perfectly so she could understand. It was really a great experience for her first exam. *we did initially have some trouble with scheduling but it wasn’t their fault. I was scheduling online so they had to reschedule when I selected a location that didn’t accept our insurance, and once more when I selected a slot for a provider that was leaving. Once I scheduled over the phone it went smoothly.
