Amazing staff. I came in with my newborn and he started to have a meltdown while getting my eyes examined. Instead of getting frustrated and asking me to reschedule I was met with kindness and compassion. They offered to help me with my baby so that I could finish my exam. Could not recommend this office more. From the doctor to the nurse to Ginger at the front desk, all were incredible.
I can’t say enough good things about Pacific Eye in Orcutt! I was visiting Santa Maria and realized I had left my contact lenses in Los Angeles—total panic moment. But the staff here were incredible. Within minutes, they had me set up with new contacts and saved my entire trip. Everyone was kind, professional, and incredibly efficient. It’s rare to find service this fast and friendly. The staff at this office were unwilling to help me get the results from my digital retinal imaging. After radio silence regarding the results after 24 hours I called the office and was rudely told the doctor has 72 hours before he has to get back to me ... never heard of that law. They also blamed me for the delay saying I should have had my eyes dialated (not an option as I'm dealing with balance issues). I can understand delays, however rude behavior to a patient is unnecessary. I will not be returning to this office.
Dr. Dirksen was terrific! He asked about my concerns and addressed them promptly. It was a deep relief. I received a thorough exam and a new prescription pronto. In and out in 25 minutes. Just wonderful.
This was my first visit to Pacific Eye with Dr. Dirksen. I felt he was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He was very thorough and efficient with the scanning. The appointment did not take long at all. I am so happy to have gone today.
