When our healthcare plan changed, we had to search for a new eye care provider. Admittedly, I wasn’t feeling confident in anyone other than our previous provider. However, Pearle Vision on Georgesville Rd was great. The moment we walked in, we were kindly greeted and checked in. Dr. Nolan was fantastic! He explained the results of my testing in a way I could understand, and gave me advice on how to combat my dry eye issue; even giving me a sample of hydration drops. He was professional and personable. It was a busy Saturday morning, but I did not feel rushed through any of the processes. The selection of glasses was nice. The gentleman helping me with checking out my new glasses even cleaned AND replaced a screw in my current glasses because they were a little wobbly. That is above and beyond in customer service. I’m glad I’ve found a new eye care provider I know I can trust for years to come. I highly recommend this Pearle Vision location.

We had an appointment scheduled with our regular doctor, but when we arrived, another doctor saw us instead. We later saw on the prescription that her name was Denise Bell, but she did not introduce herself during the visit or explain why our original doctor was unavailable. During the appointment, she discussed my 13-year-old daughter’s diagnosis directly with her while I was sitting in the corner of the room. When I stood up to better understand what was being explained, I was told that I was interrupting. As the parent of a minor, I believe I have the right to be fully informed and involved in my child’s medical care. She then asked my daughter to go into another room to try new contact lenses. I followed to help her remove her lenses, but I was told there was not enough space for me. After inserting the new lenses, my daughter complained that her eyes were burning. We were told that the discomfort would pass, but it did not improve. When my daughter said she preferred her previous brand of lenses, the doctor responded by saying she had been practicing for 30 years and knew better. Additionally, we were told that all examination information would be emailed to us. It has now been about two weeks, and we have not received any follow-up communication. Professional experience is important, but communication, respect, and proper follow-up are essential—especially when treating a minor. Unfortunately, we did not feel comfortable or respected during this visit and will likely seek care elsewhere.

I had originally had a bad encounter with this store. I would like to thank the manager for reaching out to me to speak about my encounter. I went in to have my yearly checkup and worked with her. I got my my new glasses and she had my old one repaired for me. When a business reaches out to a customer as I was. I felt heard and appreciate the kindness that was offered me. Alot of businesses don't do this anymore and it's a shame they don't. Thank you very much for talking with me and helping me out.

Glasses are way to expensive. $780 for one pair with simple wire frames. I was in a pinch having lost mine, my regular doctor not available for 8 weeks, Pearl Vision had an opening same day at 3:40 so went that route. Good exam, nice helpful people. I'll have replacements in two weeks! Pearl Vision got it done although there was a price to pay. Welcome to free enterprise.

Doctor Nolan, Devon, Jasmine and Brad were all incredibly helpful and informative! They got me in and out in a reasonable amount of time (the whole process took just over an hour) and got me a great deal on glasses and contacts. 10/10 would recommend.
