Best eye doctor in Maine. My eye doctor passed away unexpectedly, Dr. Allen took me for an urgent eye need visit and has been seeing me ever since. So grateful. All of her staff is amazing!
Unfortunately they stopped taking eye med with NO warning to existing patients. Insurance needed a pre authorization for any coverage that we didn't get because we always used eye med. I don't have a problem with them not taking eye med, but people need to know they don't before the appointment so they either know there will be a bill or can find another provider.
Struggle to find an eye doctor they got me right in for an eye exam and got me a new prescription. The whole team here is amazing and they truly care about Their patients. Would recommend this eye care to anyone. Thank you so much.
They came highly recommended to me and I can see why! The staff are all very kind and helpful and answered any questions I had. Dr Carmichael is fantastic! The calm atmosphere there would be good for anyone with anxiety. They have a great selection of glasses and the person helping me was able to order the specific color I wanted!
I called to schedule an appointment. I haven't been a patient since apparently since 2012. They say I owe a bill from 2012. 35 bucks. Plus said they sold my debt to a collection agency. How can you double dip?? The great state of maine has a statue of limitations. 6 years and the debt is gone. This has got to be the worst eye doctors in the USA. I'll make sure to trash talk about them to everyone i see!!!
