This is for the Creve Coeur location. If I were rating my doctor alone, she would receive a full 5 stars without hesitation. She has always provided excellent care, and I have trusted her for the past five years. Unfortunately, this review is not about her it is about the unacceptable behavior of the front desk staff. After waiting well past my scheduled appointment time, I politely asked why the doctor was running so far behind. Instead of receiving a simple explanation or even a basic apology, I was met with a rude, dismissive, and condescending attitude. One of the front desk employees repeatedly addressed me as “sweetheart” while speaking down to me, which came across as patronizing and disrespectful. I was even yelled at simply for asking a reasonable question. I understand that doctors can run behind schedule, and I have always been patient. What I do not understand is why a loyal patient of five years should be treated with such disrespect for politely asking about a significant delay. Professionalism and basic courtesy should never be optional. It’s incredibly disappointing that the outstanding care provided by my doctor is overshadowed by front desk staff who lack professionalism, empathy, and respect for patients. After this experience, I have to ask myself whether I want to continue coming to this practice just because of my doctor. At this point, I’m honestly not sure. That’s how upsetting this experience was. I sincerely hope management addresses this issue, because no patient should ever be made to feel belittled or disrespected.
