I don’t usually leave reviews for eye centers, but I felt it was important to share my experience this time. I chose this location because it was included in my vision plan and scheduled an eye exam along with a contact lens fitting. It has now been over two months, and I’m still waiting for my contacts. The first pair of glasses I received was incorrect and had to be sent back. The second pair was also wrong. I finally received a pair that was usable, but even then, they were just okay. I’ve worn glasses my entire life, and I’ve never experienced delays like this. At chain optical centers, I typically receive my glasses within a week—not two months. The pricing here is high, and the customer service hasn’t been the friendliest. As for my contacts, the pair I did receive tore quickly, and now I’m waiting weeks again for replacements. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this eye center. Dr. Criswell, Thank you for taking the time to respond. I read your message, but your explanation does not reflect my experience as a patient. My review was based on the delays, repeated issues, and overall customer service I encountered throughout the process. While I understand you may see things differently from your side, the experience from mine was frustrating and far from smooth. I stand by my review, as it accurately reflects what I went through. Regards, Bruce Kaiser

Rude and patronizing staff. Every time I'm in there, I notice older people are treated with much more friendliness, but me asking for a note for work warranted attitude from the doctor for whatever reason-sorry my boss requires one, I guess? And that you had to type 10 whole entire words? I could've had an attitude when I ordered contacts and wasn't informed for 3 weeks the reason they weren't arriving is because they were out of stock and no one had bothered to inform me until *I* called, but I didn't. Wanted to avoid chain vision places, but it looks like that's where I'll be going. Edit: I was never informed that I needed a follow up for the SAME EXACT PRESCRIPTION I had already had before! All it was, was a brand change! I stopped in because I hadn't received my contacts for weeks, talked to the receptionist, and SHE was the one who pulled the doctor out to write a note, not me. The patronizing attitude is clear even in his response! Don't waste your money. I got contacts for cheaper and without the runaround request for multiple appointments these people require. Edit: LMAO they claimed I missed my appointment last year when I just got a notification for it today 🤣 these goons set my appointment for A YEAR in advance, by accident I imagine, and then claim I no-showed for my follow-up appointment when it was supposed to be for April 2023, not April 2024. Get real.
I visited because they are a premium provider through my eye plan. Staff is very nice and friendly. They have a nice frame selection and staff is very helpful explaining different lens options. I did return after picking up my eyeglasses to have them tightened and somehow my lenses were damaged beyond any repair. So I had to wait for new lenses to arrive during the Memorial Day holiday. They do text you with updates and once my replacement lenses arrived, I had them adjusted and have been most happy with them.
The doctor here is kind, accommodating, and understanding. The inside of the store is very calming and beautiful. Highly recommend for all your eye care needs. I will definitely be going back. Edit/Update: I had a question regarding my visit and needed information. I called in and the staff was very helpful and got what I needed right away.
Made my appointment online and they confirmed it the next day. Just finished up here and I’m highly satisfied with their quickness and hospitality. The inside is so cozy and the atmosphere here is so calming. Cute dog too!
