I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new eye care provider. My daughter-in-law had been here before, so I decided to give it a try. Dr. Lambertson is very kind and pleasant, but unfortunately my experience with the rest of the staff was frustrating and disorganized. When I went to pick up a trial pair of contacts, I asked if I could put them in before leaving since it was dark outside and that’s when I was having the most difficulty. The front desk staff seemed unsure and had to ask someone else, only to tell me they couldn’t provide a contact case or even a small amount of solution. That was surprising and inconvenient. Communication was also an issue. I left multiple messages and never received a call back. I would strongly recommend checking your EOBs—I noticed I had been overcharged by $40. While I was refunded after bringing it to their attention, that’s something patients shouldn’t have to catch themselves. I also didn’t appreciate being told procedures like eye photos or dilation were required “because we have to,” without a clear explanation. It felt more like a push for additional charges than patient-centered care. After going through three different contact trials, I realized the issue was a change in my add power. Once I requested to go back to my previous add power with the new prescription, my vision improved significantly—especially at night. I’m no longer anxious about driving after dark, which had been a major concern. To add to the frustration, I was told that a prism glasses prescription for night driving would be free, but it was billed to my medical insurance instead. Because of that, I’m now unable to get a test my rheumatologist requires. In the end, I didn’t even need the glasses once my contact prescription was corrected. Overall, while Dr. Lambertson was great, the lack of communication, billing issues, and poor coordination from staff mean I’ll likely be looking for a different provider next year.

Behind the fancy marble and the chandeliers, this place is all sales people trying to up charge you. I came here in 2025 with a terrible experience of being told they took my insurance. At the pay out, I was told my insurance did not cover anything nor had any benefits, which they could not fully confirm and it simply wasn't true. With little to no explanation on anything at Premier Eyecare, I went to Visonworks today and they said the behavior I received at Premier Eyecare was so unusual!!! Come here if you can afford an arm and a leg just for some eye care. Then its the place for you.
Dr. Tsai has been our family Optometrist for many years. Sorry to see she is retiring. Always great service and selection of quality eyewear.
Great customer service and the new office is beautiful. Only one way into the parking lot though from Sheetz. Wait times were a little to long and like to see another entrance for parking from the main road.
Highly recommend this place! They have always been caring and knowledgeable. I tore my cornea, 3 times, and each time the took excellent care of me and even helped me to prevent any future tears. At my annual exam they were very thorough and adjusted my prescription, when I didn’t even know I needed to. My vision has never been better!
