As an airline pilot for 40 years, I’ve had quite a few eye exams, and Prescott Valley Eye Care is superb! They utilize the Optomap machine which captures an image of the inner part of the eye and allows for a much more detailed analysis of eye health, a game changer! Of course, that analysis is done by the Optometrist, and Dr. Willems provided the most thorough eye exam I’ve ever had. Impressive! Optician Diane (sp?) is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and impressive as well, while the office staff are efficient and personable. The people who make Prescott Valley Eye Care so great are rock stars in the world of Optometry and Customer Care, so ask for them by name, accept no substitutes!

I cannot say enough on how compassionate, patient & caring Dr. Courtright is. He takes his time explaining the best care for your eyesight. The trauma my wife went through with retinal detachment twice , Dr. Courtright ( post ops are with PV Eye Care ) gave my wife hope and assured her she was on the right path to recovery. I was listening in on every appointment. I have dealt with people my whole life I can tell when someone talks from the heart versus from a script. His experience shows. Also the front desk office staff is very accommodating when scheduling an appointment. I highly recommend PV Eye Care.

My experience with this office was mediocre at best. I had lost my glasses on vacation and they had the quickest appointment once I got back, which is the only positive thing about this office. I only got distance prescription glasses but after getting them I realized I used progressive lenses more than I thought. When I called for the prescription I was told the Dr had to approve and write it before it could be given to me. I even stopped into the office to pickup the prescription but was told the Dr hadn't written it yet. It wasn't until I eventually called them to find out why the prescription was never sent that I was told it had been on the day I called and stopped in. They never called me to say the prescription was ready, that it was emailed to me, that the email from their office wouldn't be the office name (it was office initials-PVEC) or to check my spam folder. Since I hadn't heard from them, I went elsewhere and paid for another eye exam so I could get progressive eyeglasses. I won't go back to PVEC and urge others to find a better place for eyeglasses as well.

Roger beat me to reviewing Dr Courtright! I'm actually the patient and without going into too much details, have had to endure 5 surgeries due to detached retina and cataract. I'm finally reaching the end of my nightmare and my post op care has been with Dr Courtright. His compassion and patience and more importantly, his knowledge has been most appreciated. I finally have hope with my future vision. I can't say enough about his office. I wish he could have been my doctor for all the other procedures but am so thankful he's part of the final solution to regain my vision.

I have waited over a month to for glasses and still nothing. Came into this office on 12/03 for an eye exam and for them to complete my glasses with the new Rx. And all I keep getting is we’ll call you when they come in. I have never waited this long ever for glasses. The longest I waited was a little 3 weeks. Not a full month. So don’t think I’ll come back to this office after this. I’ve already called my previous office in Scottsdale which they only take 3 weeks to complete orders. So I’ll just need to get my glasses back and have them refund my money paid for my eye glasses. Once I get my glasses back I’ll take it to Scottsdale to have it completed
