Came to Dr.McConnell with a stye less than 48 hours before I was scheduled to leave for a 2 week trip abroad. She was super knowledgeable, kind and accommodating. She was able to give me drops, plenty of travel self heating eye masks (loved them for the plane and where I didn’t have access to a microwave for my other eye mask) eye wipes and most importantly a quick antibiotic prescription. It was a rather large stye but after a few days on antibiotics the swelling and pain was significantly improved and my stye was healed before the end of my trip! Thank you Dr. McConnnell!

Dr. McConnell is always so kind and easy to talk to. She takes the time to explain everything she is doing and makes sure I am comfortable throughout my exam. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and professional eye doctor—five stars all the way.

Dr. Laurie and her staff (Chau & Julie) are so friendly, patient and professional. I’ve been a client for years! At my last appointment Dr. Laurie recommended the latest technology contact lenses and they have improved my vision so much! Private Eyes’ location in Tequesta is so convenient and the office is so bright, clean and organized. I enjoy being Dr. Laurie McConnell’s client and so does my family.

I live in the Treasure Coast but do mind driving to Dr McConnell’s office. She always works with her heart, very professional and very intelligent. The new girl at the front desk (Chau) is very organized and polite. I recommended Dr McConnell to few of my friends and they’re very thankful to have her. One friend in particular who Dr. McConnell made the correct diagnosis, referred him to an ophthalmologist where he had a procedure that markedly improved his eyesight!
