My eye exam with Dr Johnson was great, as usual. Picked out new frames. Went in to get them (only took 10 days after my appointment), they barely took the time to fit them, told me I couldn't switch to silicone nose pieces. Went to another eye glass store & they switched the nose pieces with no questions asked. I'll see Dr. Johnson for exams, but go elsewhere for frames & adjustments.

Long story short I have a pretty embarrassing caller ID that I set up when I was a teenager when I first bought my own phone plan I always forget about it and I've never tried to change it. The caller ID is 'Hottest Wizard'. Another long story short I used to go around and tell people I was the hottest wizard under the sun which usually got me beat up. You're probably wondering at this point what the hell this has to do with eye care? Well when I first called to set up my very first appointment as a new team member the team members at Pro Eye saw my very public and slightly embarrassing caller ID but they did not answer the phone laughing instead they helped me in a kind courteous manner and accompanied my schedule. I had requested a trial pair of contacts since I had ripped my last pair and, even though I was not a client previously, the ladies at the front desk told me to come on in and grab my trial pair which I did and they worked amazingly. The best part of of the interaction was not that they put full trust in a stranger who could have taken the trial pair cancel the appointment and walked away without doing any business, no, instead the best part was when I came to pick up my trial pair of contacts there was a sticky note was attached on top of them that said hottest wizard with a wizards hat drawn on it. That made my day! As far as the actual appointment went the entire team was very kind accommodating and very speedy. There's a new eye test that I've never had before. I've been trying to Google it because I think it's a practical joke you pull on people. Machine essentially exposes you to the light intensity of a flashbang resulting in disorientation and inability to see for around 3 minutes. All in all don't change a thing y'all are awesome! Entire team is kind, knowledge, great guest service and hospitality, and great sense of humor. I can't believe I'm saying this..... But I hope my eyes get worse so I can go back sooner!
My wife had an eye exam done at Pro Eye and ordered lenses for her frames. She likes her frames and they were in fine shape. Well, the tech broke her frames while putting in the new lenses. You guessed it, we were told it was our fault, we should know better. We were able to get a refund for the lenses but need to buy new frames somewhere. Buyer beware.
I had an appointment schedule since my last visit close to a year ago. I had it on my calendar. I found childcare for my children, made made sure I was there at my scheduled time only to find out there was no appointment scheduled. The text I received several weeks ago said I had an appointment scheduled with the day/time. Not my first rodeo with these appointment texts. What really baffled me more than anything was the lady at the front desk saying "Do you remember someone saying a year ago at your last appointment that you shouldn't listen to those texts/voicemails?" And then proceeded to tell me that the appointments are given out to other patients until we call and confirm. So 1) Why schedule a day/time to begin with? 2) Why send out texts with your appointment day/time, 3) Why schedule the day/time if they are going to give it to another patient who just called for an appointment? I am a pretty easy going person and know that sometimes things happen, but the lady was rude and didn't seem to care. I paid for a sitter, I didn't have time to wait for the next available appointment. Maybe they should consider better practices in ensuring appointment times. I am highly disappointed and will not go back.
Very disappointed. Had an appointment scheduled for my elderly mother. When we arrived they said they didn’t have her on the schedule. They would work her in. Had another appointment scheduled for her afterward. We sat for an hour and fifteen minutes and still were not called back. There was another miscommunication to the doctor about what time we needed to be out of there. Eventually we had to leave and reschedule. I took a vacation day to try and manage all of her appointments. Now I have to figure how to get her there a week from now. I will find another eye care office for her in the future.
