I recently visited the Ryban store to exchange an item, and overall the experience was positive. The exchange process went smoothly, although it took a bit longer than I expected. The staff explained that they first had to process a refund for the original purchase before completing a brand-new transaction for the replacement item. I’m not sure if that’s the company’s standard procedure or simply how they handle exchanges, but it did make the process more time-consuming than a direct swap. One thing I did wonder about was whether processing the exchange as a new sale could potentially count as a separate transaction for commission purposes. I don’t know if that’s the case, so it’s just an observation rather than a criticism. The staff members were friendly, courteous, and willing to help throughout the process, which made the wait more manageable. Their professionalism and positive attitude were definitely appreciated. The only downside I noticed was the limited in-store selection. Compared to what’s available online, the inventory in the store was fairly small, so you may not find as many options if you’re looking for a specific item or style. Overall, it was a decent experience with helpful staff, even if the exchange process could be a little more efficient.

I was at the Millennia Mall in Orlando, Florida and would like to acknowledge that the two sales associates (Zunair and Lisa) I interacted with were both very kind, welcoming, and helpful during my visits. Unfortunately, my experience with the manager, the gentleman with the dirty blonde man bun, was very different. On both occasions that my daughter and I visited the store, we were not greeted or acknowledged in any way upon entering. There was no "hello" or offer to assist us. What was especially concerning was that the manager chose to assist a Caucasian customer who entered after us before even acknowledging my daughter and me, who are African-American. This interaction left me feeling overlooked and uncomfortable. I did purchase a pair of Meta Glasses, but after trying them for a few days, I decided they were not the right fit for me and returned them. During the return visit, I again experienced the same lack of acknowledgment and customer service in the manager. I believe all customers should be treated with courtesy, respect, and equal attention regardless of race or appearance. If this individual is in a management position, I strongly feel additional customer service and sensitivity training would be beneficial. I hope Ray-Ban and Meta continue striving to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers through thoughtful hiring and leadership standards.
I was discriminated at this store. The employee Quinn (brown hair and wears Meta Glasses) refused to sell me gift cards that I was buying for people at my company. Have a company store, high performers at my company are able to use points they get for hitting certain metrics are able to buy things from my company store. He believed I was committing fraud, his Regional Manager Jerimie Welch allegedly told him that he was unable to sell to me without going through various hoops and talking to asset management or something of that nature. This store makes up rules and actively discriminates against their customers. I asked them to provide some sort of evidence of why I needed to jump through all these hoops. Quinn and his manager refused to do so. I highly recommend you avoid this store.
I walked into the store genuinely excited and fully ready to purchase the Meta glasses. Since it’s a newer product with many features, I naturally had a few questions before buying. Unfortunately, the experience with one of the associates (the gentleman with black hair and glasses) immediately changed the atmosphere. From the start, the energy felt cold and dismissive. His responses came across as sarcastic and impatient, almost as if my questions were an inconvenience or should have been “obvious.” Instead of making the experience informative and welcoming, it made me feel uncomfortable for simply trying to understand the product better before spending money on it. What’s disappointing is that I was already decided on buying the glasses. I ended up leaving and going to a nearby store in the same mall, where the staff treated me completely differently — patient, professional, and actually interested in helping. I bought the glasses there immediately. The associate even mentioned they’ve had multiple customers come from the Ray-Ban store after negative experiences. Good customer service matters most with products people are still learning about. A customer asking questions should never feel like a burden. Unfortunately, the attitude alone lost a guaranteed sale.
Awesome experience at Ray Ban today. Stopped in just to look and ended up buying two new pairs and getting an old pair repaired. Quinn was super friendly and knowledgeable!
