Dr. Susan Tran is amazing! She’s extremely thorough and passionate about her work. She explained everything to me so carefully. I’m forever grateful for her knowledge and care. I’ve been to several optometrists and none of them took the time to check my eyes as much as Dr. Susan. She has this really cool machine where she checked my retina. I learned that this device is able to see any signs of other medical conditions that could be going on in your body. I loved that she’s able to take photos of my retinas and compare them as I age and get check ups with her every year. Dr. Susan is the best of the best! Her staff were also very nice and accommodating! High recommend!!!

Dr. Susan Tran is the best optometrist I've ever went to. She's very kind and you can tell she's passionate about eye health and making sure you're informed about it as well. She even takes the time to review and educate you on the condition of your eyes which I've never experienced before at any optometry. The customer service is really good as well, Matthew and Emily was very kind in assisting my needs as a new patient. The interior of the place gives a cozy/comforting atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a new optometrist. 10/10
This is the first time I’ve experienced what a TRUE vision check up is supposed to be like! Dr. Tran took her time explaining what each vision test was for and adjusted my prescription to perfection. I asked her opinion on different options with my lenses and she tailored them exactly to my daily needs. She even recommended against spending money on a coating that would do me little good! Her office staff was also excellent at helping me pick out frames that would fit my face. This is the first time I’ve been to an optometry office that recommended styles that would fit me instead of just telling me to go pick frames that I liked from their selection! Overall extremely satisfied, would recommend!
I've been wearing glasses since the 4th grade, and I'm in my mid 40s now. My younger brother is a practicing optometrist, that does research into the field. Suffice to say I've been to my share of optometrists, and know a thing or two about getting my eyes checked. My wife and I just visited Dr. Tran's office earlier this week (December 2020) to get our eyes examined. A couple of things you need to know. Dr. Tran is the best I've seen in recent years. She really cares about your eyes and your health. Some people may find that a bit too much, but for me its refreshing compared to my last doctor in SGV. She explains things really well and offers information that you probably didn't know which is helpful not just for eye care but also personal health and well being. Yes, their office is open in limited capacity, so make your appointments as soon as you know when you can go. They really need to space out their appointments for everyone's protection during this pandemic. We booked weeks ahead of time, and when my wife and I arrived, its like we were VIP (whole place practically to ourselves). If you haven't had your eye checked recently (as in within the last year), get the the Optomap (Its roughly $40 and worth it). Dr. Tran will also explain to you why its important, but trust me, the technology has advanced to such a level that it feels as though its as important as an annual checkup for your overall health, not just your eyes. Plus side is with this technology, no dilation is necessary. Their lens options are definitely up-to-date with the current trends and advancements and offer options no longer offered by Costco (where I got my last pair of glasses). But, at additional cost. To me, my eyes are everything so I tacked all the options, and highest grade possible (I need high index because my eyes are poor) which meant my lenses came out to be about $300, which is right in line with what I expected to pay. Frames are of course additional with various discounts depending on your insurance coverage -- and they have a lot of styles to choose from. It was easy to find about a dozen or so that would work with my Asian face, and big head (my temple size is 145-150). With the help of my wife and Dr. Tran, we narrowed it down to what I hope to be my perfect pair for the next few years. We expect to receive our glasses in about two weeks or so (but we may be out of town). Will update when we get them!
I've been going to Dr. Susan Tran for about two years now. Office staffs are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Tran is lovely, knowledgable and very detail oriented. I was able to get my new glasses in 2 days. Price has always been competitive. Appointments are hard to get though as she is very busy.
