Every experience at Ross Eyecare is top notch! The office is very organized and professional. Dr. Butterworth is very thorough and doesn’t rush your appointment. Optician Gary is excellent and highly proficientHad an excellent consultation with him when ordering new lenses and loved the end result!!! Also learned a lot about transitioning into progressive lenses.

I’ve seen an eye doctor at least once a year for 20 years, and this was the best experience by far! Dr. Mast is very kind, friendly and knowledgeable. The office is setup for efficiency which I really appreciated and my technician Abby was extremely helpful and approachable. I asked about pricing and they were transparent so there were no surprises. Parking and check in/out were super easy. Definitely recommend!

The first time I went in October 2025 was good. But I just went back this week and my experience wasn’t great. I booked an appointment to update my contact prescription, but my insurance changed at the beginning of 2026 and they were no longer in network. They said it was flagged when I made my appointment but they did not tell me until after my appointment, and I had to pay out of pocket. They texted to remind me of my appointment, so obviously they had a way to communicate with me. Any other doctor’s office I’ve been to has called me if they had a problem with my insurance to ask me to verify/resend my info. They seem like nice enough people I guess but that was shady to me.

I had an appointment at Ross Eye Care Group for 8:45am. As I got caught up in World Cup Traffic and realized I would be 5 minutes late for my appointment, I called to advise them. I was told that appointments were given a 15 minute grace period. The receptionist then asked if I would be able to get there by 9:00am. I told her my GPS was showing I would but I didn’t know what traffic would do. She thanked me for calling and we hung up. I wound up arriving at 9:03am due to 2 lanes being blocked because of an accident. I was told that I would have to reschedule because I was a new patient and there was paperwork I would have to fill out. I asked why the receptionist didn’t tell me that I wouldn’t be seen if I was past the grace period. The check-in person said that she heard the receptionist tell me that they give a 15 minute grace period. To be clear, the receptionist didn’t tell me my appt would be canceled. I asked if 3 minutes really made that big of a difference and she said “yes because I was a new patient”. So, after traveling 90 minutes to get to this appt based on a friend’s recommendation, I left without seeing anyone. I understand that doctors have tight schedules, you as the patient have to allow for Atlanta rush hour traffic (which I did do by buffering for an extra 45 minutes) and they told me I had a 15 minute grace period. I am frustrated that I now have to turn around over 3 minutes. I guess if you have to give one patient more grace, it’s too much. They have their rules and I have my disappointment. I advise anyone making a morning appointment to allow 60 minutes because 45 wasn’t enough for me personally. This office rates high. I’m sure they are great if you’re lucky enough to get there on time.

I drove hundreds of miles to come see this doctor because my Rx is hard to figure out. He took time, was patient, and separated my Rx into two! I bought two sets of the same Prada frame: one for computer work, one for everything else. When I put them on… I was able to see ME and my friends and the world in a NEW way! I’m seeing so clearly! I feel NEW, overjoyed, and grateful! P.s: the facility is clean and inviting; Rosie and Anthony are great, too
