As a first-time patient, I had a great experience! Everything was smooth and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They made picking out glasses and contacts easy, explaining the best options for my insurance and out-of-pocket costs. The optometrist was kind, patient, and thorough. Overall, a really positive visit—definitely recommend!
The doctors are great! However the front desk staff needs more hands on training and better customer service skills. Everytime I have purchased new glasses the fitting has always been completed incorrectly and I have to return multiple times to fit my glasses. This continues to be very inconvenient and the lack of training is expressed with every return visit. They should sit down with each patient and make sure the fitting is fitted correctly before the patient leaves! Either the glasses sit too high on my ears or they are too loose. Very frustrating and considering changing eye doctor’s because of this.

The optometrist took their time explaining everything to me and even showed me the results in a way that was easy to understand. The whole team was friendly, and the office had a welcoming vibe. The quality of care was exceptional, and I felt like I was in good hands. The prices were very reasonable, considering the top-notch service and advanced equipment used. Highly recommend for anyone in need of a professional eye care experience!
I've been a patient at Dr. Lacey and Ruzicka's Optometry for over 10 years, and I can confidently say they're the best. Dr. Ruzicka is incredibly professional and respectful, and he took the time to help me fully understand my uncommon vision condition—something no other optometrist has done. His explanations made everything clear, and I really appreciated that the focus was on my well-being, not on selling products. The office is easy to find with plenty of parking, and they have a great selection of stylish frames and the most comfortable color contact lenses I've ever used. I really like this office! Also I came here on a personal referral because it’s hard to choose a doctor from an internet search, but here we are! That’s why I’m leaving a review ;) Dr. Lacey is very patient and although I needed adjustments getting my prescription correct, they saw me as many times as needed. It’s easy to schedule and get appointments too. Definitely recommend!
