Just want to shout out Dr. Thompson, Ray, and Morgan for the help today! The medical care was amazing with clear explanations to my questions. And the help with my insurance and getting my lenses to where they need to be for my convenience was also above and beyond. It definitely felt great to see positivity and clear communication within the medical community! Definitely recommend this group!
Dr. Steve did a wonderful job, and Morgan was an excellent associate and answered all my questions. The staff is always so kind, friendly, and gives great input on frames. I’ve been going here for years and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!
Deven has been very helpful through my time at college and after when I occasionally come back up to Grand Rapids. If something is wrong with my glasses, I will wait until I am back in Grand Rapids to get it fixed. Lately I came back needing my glasses tightened, cleaned, and the screw to be screwed back in. Although it's hard to get it perfectly cleaned, she cleaned it to the best of her ability along with the other necessities. I also got my lens from here. My frame is Adidas and I had got them while in Thailand, but there was an issue with the prescription I received, and since I really like Adidas I did not necessarily want to get rid of the frame. RxOptical was able to cut custom lens for my Adidas frame. RxOptical is amazing!
Great experience here getting my contacts. Morgan, Maddie, and Deven were all incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my visit. They made the process smooth from start to finish and took the time to explain everything clearly. Excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere—highly recommend this location!
I'm so disappointed by the lab that services this location. To be clear, I've never had any issues with the actual eye doctor here or the staff (which is why I did two stars instead of one) but the lab is absolutely terrible. I had new lenses made for an existing pair of glasses, and as of today I am on my THIRD time returning to get the lenses fitted to my frames because the lab cannot seem to get it right. It's now been well over a month since I started this process and I was told today I'd have to wait an additional week and a half. Between headaches, difficulty seeing, and repeated trips to this location I'm definitely planning to change doctors. This place is not cheap by any means, and with the cost you'd think the quality of the lab would be better. Again, the staff at the office is great, but I'm so mad about how poorly this experience has gone with my lenses that I will not be returning.
