My wife just had our first baby delivered here on Wednesday. Incredibly wonderful and amazing experience!!! All people are so kind and patient (including the receptionist on the first floor). The whole procedure (arrive -> check in -> initial diagnose and check cervix -> labor -> stay for two nights) is so smooth. We both are very satisfied, and my wife started to reconsider to have a second child :) Special thanks to our delivery nurse Katherine! What a nice woman (can't say enough good words to her)! She was kidding that she wanted to be our nurse again because my wife pushed our baby out very quickly (in 10 minutes) and said my wife was born to have a child (lol!), and we definitely want her to be our nurse again if we were to have a second child.

My experience at the hospital where I gave birth was truly excellent. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. The teamwork among the nurses and staff was outstanding, and it made me feel safe and supported throughout my stay. A very special thank you to the lactation nurse, Ms. Dorise. She was like a mother figure — caring, honest, and always guiding me on what was best for both me and my baby. She is an excellent teacher, very patient, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about her job. I appreciated her old-school approach because it came with wisdom, warmth, and experience that made me feel comfortable and confident as a new mom. The hospital overall was very organized, well-prepared, and provided a wonderful environment for patients and families. I am grateful for the amazing care I received and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone expecting a baby.

This review is specifically for PA Dr. Caleb Yeaton and Nurse Jessica. I cannot express my gratitude enough for them. They truly went above and beyond to make sure my sister was comfortable. Dr. Yeaton is the definition of an exceptional health care provider and patient advocate. He is also so funny and we enjoyed every time he stopped by to check up on us. Nurse Jessica was also a beautiful soul and so sweet. Although I wish no pain for anyone, I know that everyone who has this A team on their care are in the best hands. I don't normally write reviews but I believe these two deserve every acknowledgement. Thank you Dr. Yeaton and Nurse Jessica!

We arrived at 8 am Sunday since it said online the visitor’s hours was opened at 8 am each day. We got to the desk at the inova labor and delivery area and was told we had to wait till 9. Please change posting online. We have missed an hour with our new grandbaby and we have to leave soon. We would have planed differently if the information provided was accurate.

My experience at Inova Fair Oaks Labor and Deliver was exceptional and exceeded every expectation I had for a birthing process. The OBGYN, nurses, postpartum team, and techs within L&D were kind, patient, informative, professional, and went beyond the call of duty. With black women experiencing higher maternal mortality rates, I had notable concerns about my overall experience - however my doctor and entire care team made me feel comfortable, well informed, empowered, and affirmed my decisions while giving me a full explanation of each possibility. My L&D process took an unexpected turn and I felt empowered in my decision. My providers truly exemplified superior care and attention - specifically Dr. Diana Shustarovich, Jessica Mathews, Megan Andrson, Anita Sharma, Carolyn Sommerville, and Workitu Woldegiorgis. Of note, Carolyn Sommerville was truly outstanding, her disposition was professional, warm, and nurturing. She eased my postpartum journey and exemplified what a care provider should be.
