I've come to Dr Kwong for several years. The wait is usually long, but he has been pretty nice & thorough, and it's been convenient. I had a very poor experience yesterday, though. The wait to be seen was 45 minutes. When I was finally seen, I commented on it. I did it light-heartedly in an "I love you, but..." kind of way. It pissed him off. He flipped an "I don't have time for you" switch and was rude with me verbally and in how he curtly went through my appointment. He literally said, "You brought out the New Yorker in me." I'd try to ask questions about things he said to try to understand him, and he would cut me off, accuse me of not wanting to listen to him and overall made it difficult for me to get the info I was looking for regarding how I should use my glasses going forward. I guess I'm wrong for feeling our time should also be respected when seeing a provider (we are expected to show up on time). I think I might have continued to tolerate that, but his very unprofessional response with me prompts me to seek care elsewhere going forward.

I called this morning to see if they had any cancellations for an appointment for an eye exam, and by luck they did! Latisha (I hope I spelled it correctly) was so helpful and patient with me from the very beginning. I had the best experience. This was the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. Dr. Kwong is amazing! He is so personable and really helps you understand everything. I appreciated this so much!

Leticia (sp?) was wonderful getting us checked in and doing the preliminary tests. Dr. K is very pleasant and takes his time with you. He explains as he goes and makes sure you understand before moving on.

First time I have ever used Sam's Club optical in Snellville Georgia and I have to say, I was absolutely blown away by their courteous and professionalism! From Elsa, Todd and Dr. Kwon, they treated me and the other customers like we were Family! They even offered bottle water while we waited. If you have ever been to get glasses for the first time then you know there is a process you go through. From the first examination to the second examination to the picking out of the frames to the measuring for the lenses, it all went very smoothly. I might also add, I wasn't the only customer there, the waiting room was packed and Dr. Kwon and staff were very efficient and courteous with all the customers. I DID NOT SEE A SINGLE CUSTOMER WHO WAS VISIBLY UPSET BECAUSE THEY WERE HAVING TO WAIT. I would recommend Dr. Kwon and Snellville Sam's Club Optical to everyone I know that needs glasses. 10 stars!!!!!!

Decent eye care place but has its drawbacks. Glasses take a long time to come in. Appointments are scarce and staff are always busy. On the plus side, they give free cleanings whenever you coming to sams.
