They sucked so bad. I'm 13 and just got out a while ago and when I got there. I was stripped naked by a nurse with a man in the room behind a very thin curtain with a grown man standing in the corner watching. After they gave me my uniform and put me in a prison looking room with a camera recording me in the corner. I sat in that room for three days because I was scared and refusing to eat. As a very unsensitive person, I was crying daily and terrified. When they put me out in the general, it got a little better. But they wouldn't let me have a pencil without being hovered over and they treated patients like animals. I was still being recorded in my room and I was scared constantly. The staff ignored most of the patients needs and were emotionless. They treated us like we were all psychos that need to be locked away forever. I was put in there with like 40 or 50 year old's. It was awful and I'm still shocked.

I only have good things to say about this hospital and the crew. Dr Brown and Breanna make a great team. Compassionate and caring. God bless this hospital in the name of Jesus
The staff were very nice and attentive. I especially loved Rachel, Pat, and Kathy. :) Very quick to get me in, and Rachel did my intake and did her best to make me feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. The security guards there are the best, especially Seth!! Dr. Barstad also helped me a lot with different types of coping mechanisms instead of the unhealthy ones I was doing. What I liked the most about being here was that I wasn't forced to do anything. This place helped me a lot for the little while I was here.
I don’t do drugs I graduated with honors and fluently speak 2 languages. I am educated and was treated horrible it was inhumane. This is humanity at its worse. You treat people at their worst like animals and have a gun to their head to behave. I was treated like this while claimed sexual assault I needed my family not isolation and humiliation. I made this account to stay anonymous. This place is predatory. I wrote everything down, I was never allowed a pencil. I wrote with a crayon. I was in suicide watch and taken from my parents. In the ER I said I wanted to die and it was true I just went through an extremely traumatic experience however physically I looked “perfectly normal.” They separated my family and sent me here. I was kept in a room I had no items that were mine and was stripped of all clothing and everything I owned. The woman asking questions and taking my intake mocked me. My parent told me “nothing you say to these people will matter. I’m sorry.” and after that point of being mocked by the nurse I refused to answer in anything other than simple answers and complied to leave quicker. During my period, I had to constantly request items for hygiene. It was extremely uncomfortable especially with males. They would not allow me extra so I could change in the bathroom. They did not allow me to take extra period pads into the “room” as needed. I had to stand behind a line and knock on the door every time even to use the bathroom. It was humiliating. The faculty consists of 2 areas the first is intake which leads to a jail like area. It has 3 patient rooms, a room of security that is inaccessible. Washing machine room, shower area, and toilet. The second area I went to on a different day and is large connecting several rooms with the rest of the patients. I barely ate but was still medicated with sleeping medications. I believe this may have been dangerous especially considering I came into the faculty having not eaten or having drunk water for 3 days. In the room of the first jail-like area there is a bed in the middle approximately 12 inches off the ground made of plastic and laid atop with 1 blanket. That’s it. The thermostat and the buttons in the room worked, The thermostat could only be changed by nurses. I was dehydrated but not allowed water in my room. I began drinking water and bleeding here, meaning nosebleeds more often mistaken as self harm by the staff. Same with hair falling out I had access to a brush upon request with toiletries. But it was harsh and my hair was unkept. The brush they provided hurt and I tried to use my hands to upkeep it. Some hair fell out and with no trash I had to throw it in the bathroom. Everything was a privilege. Writing utensils, food, water, even trash cans. Even in your room was. They called it IQ-ity the beginning room. The doctor came in and I kept saying my condition was worsening and everytime he left pretty quick I likely saw him for 5 minutes total my entire time there. Us speaking for less than that. Steller care. It was a male. Began with a T. I will not state his name. There was a similar experience I had to another woman’s review at this same location given a test on a laptop where I noticed no matter how long I took it for the bar would look as if it was going up and progressing but in reality it wasn’t. It asked questions repetitively in different ways on the computer. The nurse who admitted me became seemingly extremely mad as I asked one nurse for help. I got my room switched after that. It was me crying and saying stop as she walked to the room I was in, grabbing my stuff and throwing it into another room. That same day before this incident I was in the “ IQ area”. Again I moved rooms 3 times in 1 day. One young woman was screaming, held down and sedated then wheeled off on a dolly after being strapped down by nurses. I was punished for being assaulted not by heartless people! Right before releasing me one lady told me to call human services, and them. But why would I ever? When asking for help got me stuck here in the first place?
i was admitted in 2021 on false accusations of ‘wanting to kill my self’. i was locked in a room with a concrete slab for hours, i had basically no sense of time and sobbed for most of the time. i was in seventh grade. i was a child. when moved to general unit, it got slightly better. when i was obviously having reactions to a medication that i did not need whatsoever, i was told i needed to take a two hour long test. i was crying in a chair while having the worst heat flash of my life. my week there is now a bit foggy but i never wanted to end my life before i came there, i felt alone, and hopeless, the “psychiatrist” expected me, a then 13 year old child, to be awake at 6am and be in an enjoyable mood to be considered “better”. if you’ve ever heard of fake it till you make it, you’re definitely going to remember if you’re ever admitted here.
