I wanted glass lenses and it seems places no longer offer them even though they give the best vision and last far longer. I have been a patient of Dr Cranford for 40 years, but FYI I'm 47 now. Started young! I still like visiting this office to get eye exams from him, but the rest of the staff hasn't kept up with the times when it comes to competing with online merchandisers. Contacts cost double what they cost from online sources, and I can now get a pair of glasses, lenses and frames for less than $40 online. Even with insurance, it's cheaper to buy online.

I bought glasses(which I love) but was unhappy with the lens. I was refused a refund until my insurance company got involved. This office first told me it was the eye insurance company that denied my refund! When I called my insurance company they told me,no,they didn't deny me and helped me get my money back. The woman at the desk was rude to me when I tried to discuss my refund, and she was rude to my insurance company as well. My eye insurance company has my case documented.

Service was fine, but billing is questionable. I was misled on the cost of second pair of glasses—almost tripled in cost. When I obtained a copy of bill, discrepancies existed between what they reported to insurance and what they charged on my credit card. Office could not explain discrepancy. Seems someone is overcharging customer and/ or insurance company. I won’t be going back as they lost my trust.

Super fast visit, virtually no waiting time, staff was excellent and very attentive. They easily worked with my insurance was literally in and out the door in 20 minutes and that included the time it took for me to select my frames! I would highly recommend this office!
