Regardless of when I show up for my depo shot (something that takes 2 minutes to do maximum) they forget about me and I have to sit it the waiting room at least 30 minutes after my appointment time. Every time, for years. People who got here way after me being seen first for an appointment that’s barely going to take time. Also last year I had an IUD inserted, the doctor I saw gaslit me and lied and name called. And when I called back to say something was wrong they told me to just take more tylenol. I couldn’t move for days and days, I was in blinding pain. I came back 3 weeks later and had it removed by a nurse. She informed me it was placed too low and likely had my cervix wedged open. I still had to pay an obscene amount of money for the negligence of this doctor, and I will NEVER be seeing her again after the way I was treated. edit: I see that they’ve replied, that 404 link does nothing, also I called billing to dispute this and nothing happened. I explained everything. So instead I had to pay out of pocket for this mistake. I am disabled so I don’t have much money in the first place, I’m sure this has been “investigated” but nothing happened. I’d change providers and never come here again for even my depo but every other office has ridiculously long wait times so I’m stuck with y’all.

Update: Despite their response, I never did hear back. Dr. Amanda Walters is truly the most unprofessional OBGYN I’ve had the displeasure of giving money to. She makes insensitive comments and is very unprofessional. Patient advocates are no help. I had a wonderful experience here giving birth to my first daughter. But nearly the entire OB team has turned over and I see why.
I had a Urologist appointment with Christine Nott, PA-C at Baylor Scott & White Clinic Floor 2 today. I've never felt more looked after and understood. Thank you for making it easy and comforting to take care of my medical care. 10/10 experience.
Not satisfied with my initial pre-natal visits. I expected to meet my OBGYN right away. Instead I was required to go through 3 different appointments before meeting a doctor and was refused an appointment. First appointment was to confirm the pregnancy (as if the 10 positive pee sticks weren’t enough) a second to go over what to expect during pregnancy (this is my second child, I know what to expect) a third to go over insurance (I work in the insurance industry, I know how it works) it wouldn’t be until the 4th appointment that I would finally meet the doctor. After I expressed the intake & billing appointments were unnecessary and cancelled, I showed up to the 4th appointment to meet my doctor. However, upon arrival I was told my appointment was cancelled (without my knowledge) They refused to schedule the appointment with a doctor until I completed the other appointments. Seems more like they were trying to get money out of the insurance company rather than caring for their patient.
Doctors are amazing - super professional and friendly, always make us feel comfortable about our pregnancy process. But some of the staff taking care of the scheduling process never fail to surprise us with their incompetence. It doesn’t seem that hard to call someone back, to schedule an urgent appointment (for 3 weeks). And yet, they can’t even do that, so now we have to drive for 40 minutes to make an appointment in person with someone annoyed at us for bringing it up (Samantha). Like come on! Think about it - this is 100% gonna be one of the first jobs in the medical field to be replaced with AI. The least I would expect from you is to try a little. Recommend this place because of the doctors, but make sure you make an appointment in person or through the website/automation systems.
