Such a refreshing experience! I've recently switched from another local eye doctor, and the experience was night and day. For one, I like that there are several doctors in office, so those of us who prefer to see a live doctor (versus telemedicine) have many options. Second, all of the staff were so friendly and helpful. They even tried to fix my broken glasses that were not purchased there. Third, Dr. Freitag was super friendly, always made sure I understood what was happening and why, and he made sure to allow time for any questions may have. And to top everything off, I was still in and out in under an hour (with the extra retinal screening and 2 pairs of progressive glasses!). I will definitely be back, and I'll be sure to refer my friends and family! Thank you all for such a welcoming experience!

I was at the Market Lane Shopko number 4031. I just wanted to say that Rachel and Barb provide excellent customer service. They don't make you feel like they are doing you a favor to help you out. They are knowledgeable, polite, courteous and are able to turn to the page that either myself or the customer is on. Their customer service goes above and beyond what would be expected, and is one of the major reasons I continue to do business with Shopko Optical on Market Place. Art Fonk

I went to shopko on highway 50 and they were wonderful. Just took my husband to shopko on marketlane , somers wi. today and from the moment we walked in the staff was rude and horrible. The woman that sits at desk right when you walk in was rude. Acting like she didn’t want to wait on my husband. Would not explain to him what the extra picture thing was about . She just slammed paper down and said just opt out then . If she would have explained on how helpful that picture of his eyes is he would have opted in . She needs a new profession and not work with the public or with handicapped people. Will not return !!!!!! Adding to review- went to try on glasses and asked where the basket is to put glasses in after trying on 2 ladies said no we don’t wipe them every time people try them on just at end of day. But after observing this place I know they probably never sanitize and wipe glasses . Shopko do better !

Dr Steven Ticknor is very nice, professional and thorough. The staff were wonderful. Definitely a positive experience and will recommend them to family, coworkers, and friends.
