Had an appointment with Dr. Van Driel and have to say she was AMAZING. By far THE best eye doctor I have seen in YEARS. She was very personable, friendly, funny and informative. Highly recommend her for anyone needing an eye exam . Also the ladies up front that placed the order for my glasses, Sarah and her coworkers were great friendly and helpful.
Make it easier to get my prescription either online or over the phone- I should not have to come into the facility just to get some numbers wrote down on a piece of paper. Or wait 2 weeks to get it in the mail.
I Went in for contacts in the Shopko optical in Wausau on September 30, 2025. I had Cameron who was testing my eyes and etc and omg was she wonderful. Very easy to talk to and made me feel wanted and cared for me while I was in there. Truly a funny person as well. She is truly a definition of customer care/service. I would recommend my family and friends to come here to experience the kindness and care I went through. Thank u Cameron
The Shopko Optical in Wausau is hands down the best eyewear place I’ve ever been to. Alyssa, Sarah, and Heidi truly came to my rescue. Not only did they help me with my original prescription, but they also went above and beyond with an old pair of expensive glasses I had that were broken. They found a solution through the warranty, sent the glasses in for me at no cost, and now I’ve got two pairs , my new ones and a backup. I’m beyond grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and effort. If anyone needs a place to get glasses, this is the place to go. They definitely deserve this review.
Excellent service starting when I walked in the door. I was greeted promptly, checked in and had a bit to browse the frame selection. The Doctor was knowledgeable and thorough. My eye wear technition helped me select frames and the best lenses for my prescription. Terrific experience!!
