I've been a patient of Dr. Marcus for a few years. Took my husband today for a checkup, his first time here. As always, all staff are excellent and kind and caring. Very professional. Dr. Marcus is awesome! Explains everything thoroughly and clearly and without anxiety. Highly recommend Sight MD in Patchogue, NY Long Island. Great eye care and they do hearing aids and issues too!
I had cataract surgery 7/31/26 and had a concern. I called the Patient Contact Center number at 7:30am Sunday morning, August 2nd, and they were able to see me in the Patchogue office at 9:00am. Every single member of the team in the office was friendly and professional, especially as they could see that I was quite nervous. After a thorough exam, I was assured that all was fine.
I’ve been a patient of Sight MD ( 250 Patchogue Yaphank Rd. in East Patchogue, New York) for 25 years now. And till this day, they are extremely courteous, professional, kind & very helpful! The receptionists always greet you with a smile! The atmosphere is one of comfortability. The medical assistance who prep you to see the doctor are absolutely wonderful! Their kindness and compassion are absolutely commendable! And my doctor, DrCatherineScandiffio is the embodiment of the hypocritical oath! She me feel like a valued patient! She takes the time to listen to my concerns. She also explains things in Laymans terms, which is easy for me to understand. She is very honest with her answers as a medical professional. Which I value highly! And keep in mind, it’s been 25 years of the same excellent service! If only other doctors offices would take example. I’m very happy to have such great service! And I highly recommend this particular office to everyone. Thank you Sight MD, for being part of my journey to healing.
The staff was friendly and polite. Dr. Avni was great, he came in shook my hand and introduced himself, he thoroughly explained what was going on with my eyes and the next steps I need to take. He had direct eye contact the whole time with a smile! This is a great location.
My husband and I had a great experience with Dr Lindsay Beckler, the audiologist who tested our hearing and fit us for ear pods. She is very kind and professional. Don’t hesitate to use this practice for your audiology needs as well!
