I am so happy to have found such an incredible eye doctor! I am always taken care of by Ferdinand and his wonderful staff! I’ve had very positive experiences seeing Dr. Pouyat and Dr. Patel! The office has the best technology and care for their patients! Ferdinand helped me pick out glasses for the first time and I’m so thankful! I always feel so welcomed when I go there!
We had our 5-year-old son’s first eye exam here, and it was such a positive experience. He was very nervous and initially did not cooperate much with the technician while trying to take the eye pictures. However, Dr. Patel was incredibly patient, friendly, and playful with him, which helped him feel comfortable and at ease during the visit. Dr. Patel was very thorough with the exam and took the time to explain everything clearly to us. We truly appreciated her kindness, professionalism, and the wonderful way she interacted with our son. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great pediatric eye exam experience!
Dr. Pouyat is an excellent doctor, very thorough and knowledgeable! I felt heard with my concerns and educated on them when I left. There are so many frames to choose from, but no worries; because the staff are helpful and honest with the frame fit and style! Highly recommend making this a go to for your eye care!
The doctor was wonderful-professional, attentive, and I had a very positive experience during the visit itself. However, I was taken aback when I was told at the end that I needed to pay $39 for an additional screening. My insurance covers an annual visit at 100%, and no one mentioned beforehand that this screening would come with an extra cost. When I asked about it, I was simply told that I should have declined the screening—without ever being given the option in the first place. Unfortunately, this lack of transparency left a sour taste after an otherwise great visit.
I can’t say enough good things about Lake Zurich Eyecare. Everyone there is so friendly and genuinely cares about your experience. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable, and the staff makes every visit easy and comfortable. Absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for top‑tier eye care.
