I have an uncommon condition that is more common in obese individuals. Before being seen, Audrey D. Blacklock, had her nurse weigh me. The nurse even admitted she had never weighed a patient before. Rather than come in and see me for herself Dr Blacklock wanted to formulate her opinion before entering the room. She then attempted to discuss weight loss as being the only “cure” for my condition, which is inaccurate and solidly outside her scope as to my eye treatment. I asked that she only focus on reviewing my eye concerns. Her attention to detail was so inept that she utilized a hand sanitizer that had an ingredient I am highly allergic to before touching my eye lid. I will be seeking a second opinion about the swelling in my optic nerve being “normal”.
