My first routine exam after cataract surgery confirmed the excellent results of Dr. Smolyer’s procedure. My distance vision is great and lenses are not needed. Close vision for reading is corrected with lenses as expected but I can bicycle and read the computer odometer/ speedometer with my glasses. Using non-prescription sunglasses is such a big improvement. Meeting with Dr. Smolyer is pleasant, efficient and thorough as always.

From the moment we first entered the office, everyone we met made us feel very comfortable. The professionalism of the entire staff is refreshing. The front desk staff is cordial and welcoming. The professional staff is a smooth functioning team and Dr Smolyar is very knowledgeable and an excellent communicator who meticulously explained all the options. Ms Martinez, the scheduler was most helpful with the details of setting up everything. I left with a great feeling that the entire procedure will be successful.

This office runs to perfection. All the staff are efficient and knowledgeable and treat you like a good friend. Dr.Smolyar is the best!! Very concerned and capable. His cataract surgery is done under conscious sedation! It is wonderful! I knew nothing, just that it was done. I have extra of his cards to give to my friends.

Dr. Marhue is helpful, pleasant and thorough. He always seeks to study what is going on with The health of my eyes. His recommendations are clear and concise. He and his staff works seamlessly to evaluate how I am doing And what recommendations or needed for the future?

I had an injury to my left eye. This Dr attended to me. It was a couple of weeks to heal but he was able to conclude that I had no signs of glaucoma. I'd been being treated for it for too many years. I was off the drops for a month when he took new pressure testing, and he looked at t the optic nerve and declared me as glaucoma free. Now we do a vision check tomorrow. He's cautious and thorough. I'm in good hands here!
