Just received my glasses from Spectacle this weekend. They’re perfect. My experience at Spectacle downtown was amazing (Beaverton location was also great but ultimately I didn’t find a frame that spoke to me. Slightly different selection there). I was visiting from out of town and wanted to get some more speciality, unusual frames, so I was very much looking forward to this. I tried on many styles, first being helped by one very friendly employee (so sorry, I didn’t get your name!!!) before migrating to the other side of the store where Aaron scooped me up, recognizing the overwhelmed befuddlement in my myopic eyes. He offered a lot of options and gave suggestions and answered all my questions about whether frames came in a different color or if they had a similar frame but wider etc etc. At one point I glanced around at the mayhem of frames I had tried on, covering every surface of the shelves and display cases around me. Dear lord! After an impossible duration of time, I made a selection. Aaron pulled up my benefits and walked me through everything, suggested the different coatings and lens options, yada yada. Super informative. Unfortunately for them, they’ve created a repeat customer and they’ll have to watch me tear the store apart from time to time on my forever quest to express myself through eyewear. On the up side, I live quite far away, so it won’t happen that often. In all seriousness, best glasses experience I’ve had from a frames standpoint (I did not have an eye exam here). Aaron was fabulous (as was his eyewear), and so was the gentleman who was helping me first, and so sorry again for not getting your name!
