Ownership- Ever since the change in ownership the staff knowledge & quality has tanked. All new ‘nurses’ that feel they’re dr’s and doing more of the work than the dr’s do. Gaslighting patients that they don’t know their own health. Wait The wait times are horrible. Why do I have to arrive 30 minutes early for an established patient appt then wait 30+ after appt time just to be pre roomed, then roomed. Pre-Check Having to complete the pre-check in multiple times - again for a prior established patient. Then when you get with the nurse - again going through it multiple times Glasses While the selection was great prior to Prism. They’ve not been allowed to bring in new glasses or supplies till they sell all the old. Why should I have to spend what little money my insurance will cover to get new glasses that I hate or don’t fit or look good on me? Doctors Sadly I like my doctor here, but the practice has changed and not for the better. Frustrated!!! I’ve bit my tongue, this isn’t the first time. But enough!! Time to find new LOCALLLY owned, caring, committed eye care.

Was referred by primary care physician and didn't hear anything for over a month. I contacted them and was informed that referrals are not processed for up to 5 weeks. I scheduled a appointment once my referral was processed and the soonest appointment was a additional 6 weeks out. So nearly 3 months after I was referred I go to my appointment just to be turned away at the door because they did not accept my insurance. Why would you even scheduled a appointment for me if you didn't accept my insurance?
Although the doctors are excellent, the phone lines have been horrible ever since they joined Prism. My husband needs to change pharmacies for his eye drops, and he has been unable to get through to a human. He is now looking for another eye care provider. Update: My husband tried calling the number in your response. It went to voicemail, and he left a message. That was over a week ago, and noone has returned his call.
My doctor is amazing. She spends time and thoroughly checks and explains everything. Last week, she even did this when her home was in the area of a huge wildfire! God bless her!
Went to them a couple of times and wish I hadn't. They make you so archaic tests that you don't need done and the frames that you get never fit right no matter how you do it. The only good thing about them is they take insurance. Found somewhere else this year that's much better place to go.
