FYI On Saturdays between 8-11am or 8-12pm (they have changed the hours back and fourth) you can do the sick clinic at the Center for Urban Children on the other side of the hospital. Thats an option if you wanted to avoid the ER and longer waits. See photo attached from Jan 2026 that list the date and time. Please read below on why I rated them 5 stars. I have a 6-year-old and since she was born this has been her primary Drs office. We've been to the E.R., Dentist, Neurology, Orthopedics, and the Center for Urban Child Department. Although at times, the wait to see someone is a little while. For my family, we felt like she is taken care of when we did go to appointments or do walkin at the sick side of the Center for Urban Children. When she turned two, she saw nurse Priya Sripathy, CRNP and we haven't wanted to see anyone else. She is the BEST. She has the most compassion and answers any questions. She really cares for our babies. It really just makes our little girl's day when we see her. Request her you won't regret it. I also love how they have mytowerhealth available to parents it's awesome to keep track of things electronically.

My grandson was admitted on 12-9 and discharged on 12-18-25 Our experience here was top 10 🌟✨from arrival to discharge. What to say about the 5th floor nurses (528) these ladies are awesome, very caring for patients understanding and hands on professional. Thank you to all that helped in the caring for my grandson May God Bless each and everyone of you ladies🙏🏻 Taylor (Tyler)Josiah says thank you❣️🤗 p.s Laundry Dept. The only issue we had was to much lint on linen and towels🫣🙃
As a healthcare administrator, I do my very best to be courteous, clear, and respectful—because we’re all just trying to do our jobs, and things run smoother when we treat each other kindly. I recently submitted a second request for medical records after not receiving them the first time. A staff member from this facility called to follow up, which I genuinely appreciated. I kindly confirmed we hadn’t received the first set, thanked them warmly for their help, and expected a typical professional exchange. Instead, the call was ended rather abruptly—no acknowledgment or closing, just a quick hang-up that felt a bit sharp for what was a calm, friendly conversation. When the records arrived, the date was heavily circled and labeled “2ND RESPONSE” in a way that felt unnecessarily passive-aggressive. I want to be clear: I wasn’t accusing anyone of not doing their job. I simply hadn’t received the documents, and that’s a totally normal thing that happens with faxes and busy systems. It’s disappointing to be met with attitude when I approach every call with kindness, patience, and professionalism. We’re all working hard. We don’t always know what someone else is juggling, but it costs nothing to be courteous—and it makes a world of difference.
We took out daughter here for the first time today and after reading all of the terrible reviews I wanted to share a positive one because I think if everyone who had good experiences made reviews this office would have a better rating. First off, we were ten minutes late and they told us it was fine and we don't have to worry about anything and we're so friendly when we arrived. We saw the GI specialists and the nurse practitioner and the doctor were kind, patient and thorough. We didn't feel rushed at all and they made us feel comfortable with our daughter in their care.
They were great! My daughter got the back of her earrings embedded in her ears, which made them infected, and they had to be cut out. I was a nervous wreck for her, but they did an awesome job removing them with little discomfort.
