Found Stanton for my vision needs. Walked in no appointment needed no wait time. Took me right away. Other places had to wait 2 months for an appointment. Staff knowledgeable and very professional. Paid a lot less for my glasses. Highly recommend Stanton Optical.

I went for an eye exam on Friday, June 5th 2026, and was upfront at the desk that I did not intend on buying frames as I only wanted an update for my prescription. I was told it would be $79 for a simple exam, and I assured Adrianna at the desk that that was fine, and I had no issues paying for it. She took my ID and insurance information, and took over fifteen minutes to scan and give it back and had to be reminded twice before I got my documents back. The tech who helped perform my eye exam was INCREDIBLE and so so sweet and helpful, it’s a shame that she was overshadowed by the sheer lack of respect from the so called ‘branch manager.’ Once my eye exam was concluded, I was sat in the waiting room and waiting for my prescription. While I was waiting, I saw Adrianna talking with the branch manager and pointing at me. He approached me and asked me if I wanted to purchase frames, and I told him again, no, that I hadn’t seen any I liked, and those I did like were out of my price range. He said “Well, I don’t want you spending $80 just for a piece of paper!” And once again I told him that I was more than fine with paying the fee. He continued to pressure me, showing me different pairs of glasses and asking me to “just try them on and see if you like them” despite me saying over and over that I DID NOT WANT TO BUY FRAMES. He went back and forth with me for over ten minutes before shoving two pair of glasses into my hands and telling me that he’d cut some deals and lower the prices, at which point I was beyond exasperated and just wanted to leave. I watched this man interact with male customers and he approached them with infinitely more grace and respect than he did with any female customer who wasn’t spending as much as he’d like. The difference was obvious and staggering, and frankly so beyond disrespectful that I’m disgusted with the entire franchise. I’ve already told all of my friends and family who wear glasses to avoid this location.
They advertise same day glasses services and I had to wait for mine to be made and shipped. I agreed but definitely didn’t agree to waiting for my glasses for over month. It took a full calendar month to get one pair and 2 weeks from there to get my other pair. The optometrist is virtual and not friendly or engaging just eye exam on zoom and gone. I hate it. And it sucks because this was my first time finding out I needed glasses. and the glasses cases are cheap plastic
**PLEASE STAY AWAY** WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I went to this eye doctor for one reason—to get an eye exam because I prefer to buy my glasses online. After my exam was finished, I asked for the paperwork needed to send to the DMV since I knew I would be renewing my driver's license soon. To my surprise, I was told that I had to purchase glasses from them before they would give me the paperwork proving I had completed my eye exam. I was honestly shocked. I had already paid for the exam, so why would I have to buy glasses just to receive documentation that I already paid for? My husband and I called several other eye care offices to see if this was standard practice, and every single one told us they had never heard of an office withholding DMV paperwork unless a patient purchased glasses. We called the office back twice to speak with a manager, but both times we were either hung up on or told they couldn't hear us. I'll be contacting corporate tomorrow because this doesn't seem right. It feels like customers are being pressured into making a purchase they shouldn't have to make just to receive paperwork they've already paid for through their exam. Sounds like extortion to me!!!
Went to Stanton Optical to have an eye exam done. I did not have an appointment so I figured it would take a while but boy was I wrong. The gentleman that helped me was Bobby Beasley. Absolute professional he was. Honestly, my visit far exceeded my expectations. Will definitely recommend Stanton Optical to anyone I know that needs an eye exam in the future.
