Found Stanton for my vision needs. Walked in no appointment needed no wait time. Took me right away. Other places had to wait 2 months for an appointment. Staff knowledgeable and very professional. Paid a lot less for my glasses. Highly recommend Stanton Optical.

I went for an eye exam on Friday, June 5th 2026, and was upfront at the desk that I did not intend on buying frames as I only wanted an update for my prescription. I was told it would be $79 for a simple exam, and I assured Adrianna at the desk that that was fine, and I had no issues paying for it. She took my ID and insurance information, and took over fifteen minutes to scan and give it back and had to be reminded twice before I got my documents back. The tech who helped perform my eye exam was INCREDIBLE and so so sweet and helpful, it’s a shame that she was overshadowed by the sheer lack of respect from the so called ‘branch manager.’ Once my eye exam was concluded, I was sat in the waiting room and waiting for my prescription. While I was waiting, I saw Adrianna talking with the branch manager and pointing at me. He approached me and asked me if I wanted to purchase frames, and I told him again, no, that I hadn’t seen any I liked, and those I did like were out of my price range. He said “Well, I don’t want you spending $80 just for a piece of paper!” And once again I told him that I was more than fine with paying the fee. He continued to pressure me, showing me different pairs of glasses and asking me to “just try them on and see if you like them” despite me saying over and over that I DID NOT WANT TO BUY FRAMES. He went back and forth with me for over ten minutes before shoving two pair of glasses into my hands and telling me that he’d cut some deals and lower the prices, at which point I was beyond exasperated and just wanted to leave. I watched this man interact with male customers and he approached them with infinitely more grace and respect than he did with any female customer who wasn’t spending as much as he’d like. The difference was obvious and staggering, and frankly so beyond disrespectful that I’m disgusted with the entire franchise. I’ve already told all of my friends and family who wear glasses to avoid this location.
I went in to Stanton and needed a very simple task accomplished. My exact prescription I provided just a fraction stronger. I have done this forever more than a decade at other eye doctors. They always happily obliged and I never had issues at any other eye doctor. At Stanton when I repeated myself 6 times the first visit, that did not listen and gave me a weird prescription that definitely wasn't gonna work. I went back a 2nd time, had a recheck, they still didn't listen. I repeated myself another 5-6 times. This time they half listened. I went back to get my glasses and they were completely blurry in the peripheral. Glasses are never blurry when you initially put them on, it the prescription is correct. They argued with me saying that glasses take an adjustment period. I repeated myself multiple times saying they do not. The manager proceeded to say "Then why don't you tell me how they work??" I said, I will- "They should be clear the second you put them on. There is no adjustment period that's not how it works. Glasses never work that way." Can people get headaches for a day or two from a new prescription yes, but is the vision ever blurry for a new prescription absolutely not. No matter how many times I repeated myself to any of the employees or managers or optician my words fell on deaf ears. It's the most bizarre experience I've ever had where my words feel like they are hitting a brick wall and falling off. They didn't address any of my concerns. They didn't do anything I asked. They talked down on me, and ignored everything I said no matter how many times I repeated myself. Even when I clearly tried to tell them there was a communication issue going on, they didn't even comprehend that. This is the worst care, customer service, and experience I've ever had well anywhere. For your sake, don't go to Stanton. And for the record, even after getting my glasses 'remade' they were still blurry. They forced me to take them to adjust to them. I will not be going back.
They advertise same day glasses services and I had to wait for mine to be made and shipped. I agreed but definitely didn’t agree to waiting for my glasses for over month. It took a full calendar month to get one pair and 2 weeks from there to get my other pair. The optometrist is virtual and not friendly or engaging just eye exam on zoom and gone. I hate it. And it sucks because this was my first time finding out I needed glasses. and the glasses cases are cheap plastic
When arriving we were greeted by Alyssa. She helped us get an appointment and went above and beyond. Alyssa was very thorough and helpful when we were ready to checkout, she explained everything to us in a simple way. 10/10 recommend Alyssa to everyone.
