I booked my appointment because of the promotion advertising a free eye exam with the purchase of two glasses for $79. That was the entire reason I scheduled with this office. During the appointment, the employee asked if I wanted to check for contact lenses as well. I said yes, assuming it was simply part of the exam process because at NO point did anyone explain that this would add an extra charge of over $150. Later, they offered another optional test and specifically told me that one would cost an additional $35. I agreed and signed for it because they clearly explained the charge beforehand. So please explain to me why they were capable of disclosing the $35 fee, but somehow forgot to mention the much larger contact lens exam fee? At checkout, my total went from what should have been around $130 to over $300. When I questioned it, instead of acknowledging the lack of transparency, I was told that I “should have known.” No — as the customer, it is NOT my responsibility to magically know your pricing structure. It is YOUR responsibility to clearly explain additional charges BEFORE performing services. What made this experience even worse was the rude and dismissive attitude afterward. There was zero accountability, zero empathy, and absolutely no effort to resolve the situation fairly. This office seriously needs to improve its communication and transparency practices. Customers deserve honesty, clear pricing, and respect — not surprise charges and condescending responses

I’ve never been to Stanton before. We came here because my son lost his very expensive prescription glasses and we needed a more economical and quick replacement. Stanton delivered! Outstanding service. I was able to get my son an appointment the day I called. The eye exam was thorough and quick. Huge selection of frames to choose from. And technician Connor was so friendly, helpful and easy to work with. And major bonus: my son got his 2 pairs of glasses within an hour. I highly recommend Stanton.

Some of the best customer service I’ve ever received! The staff was patient and kind working with me and my sister today and I can’t thank them enough! :) I want to thank the guy (I didn’t get his name, sorry!) that helped me through getting the eye exam for my sister. Also thank you so much Jalynn and the Manager (I’m pretty sure she was, but also didn’t get her name either)! Y’all are the best! :)

Came in at 2:20. Left at 4:45. The eye exam its self was the weirdest experience. No in person optometrist but a woman on a screen. Asked once on each eye which one was better, I told her, then she asked if I can see the letters on the screen. I told her yes. And that was it. I dont feel like my prescription is correct at all so I will be going somewhere else to get it done. I ended up paying $294 which is insane considering they "accept medicaid". I will not be coming here again. The entire afternoon was spent there.

The entire process was seamless. Check-in was a couple of minutes and fielded by very nice people. Exam was a couple of minutes and the doctor was very efficient. Afterwards, we were approached by Amir who guided us through the experience of picking our frames and lenses. I can't tell you enough how essential Amir is to this establishment. He made me feel so comfortable when I was out of my depth and he was so knowledgeable.
