If I could give Stanton Optical 10 stars, I would. After two incredibly frustrating experiences with other optical providers, I called Stanton Optical expecting more of the same. Instead, someone answered quickly, was friendly, and got me scheduled for a 2:00 PM appointment. When I arrived, they actually took me back nearly an hour early. From start to finish, the customer service was outstanding. Everyone I interacted with was welcoming, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about helping me. The eye exam was quick and efficient, and before I knew it I had an updated prescription, two brand-new pairs of glasses, and all new lenses at an incredible price. The entire process was smooth, stress-free, and exactly how customer service should be. It’s amazing how much of a difference it makes when a business values its customers. Stanton Optical completely turned around what had been a frustrating day, and they’ve earned my business going forward. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality service, great prices, and a team that actually cares.

I scheduled an appointment at Stranto Optical for my 79-year-old mother, and the experience was extremely disappointing. At no point during scheduling was I informed that the exam would be conducted through telemedicine. This lack of transparency is unacceptable, especially when dealing with elderly patients who require proper, in-person care. After learning more about telemedicine eye exams, it’s clear they are not appropriate for someone my mother’s age. These types of exams are generally intended for low-risk individuals between ages 18–39 who only need a simple prescription update. They do not assess overall eye health, including critical areas like the retina or optic nerve, and are not suitable for older adults who are at higher risk for conditions such as presbyopia and other eye diseases. Given these limitations, I made the decision to take my mother elsewhere for a proper, comprehensive exam. Unfortunately, the staff’s attitude after I made that decision only added to the negative experience—they were unprofessional and dismissive. I strongly recommend that Stranto Optical be upfront with patients about the type of exams they provide. This approach may work for some, but it is not appropriate for elderly patients who deserve thorough, hands-on care.

There is no doctor onsite to discuss eye health. They send you home with print outs . If you’re a 1099 worker or self pay, please do not go here it’s expensive too expensive if you never even get to see a doctor. The lady that helped me pick my glasses was extremely helpful, but the rest of the process was not helpful. They only got two stars from me because of the associate that helped me picked my frames.

GREAT place, GREAT staff, GREAT service! I cannot say enough about this experience. I have worn glasses my entire life and the last several years, my changing eyesight has challenged opticians and optometrists to get the correct prescription. At Stanton I was at first concerned about having the exam by the doctor done virtually (but in the store). However, it was the most thorough exam I have ever had and for the first time in years my prescription is GREAT! The staff at the store were SUPER helpful, explained everything in detail, helped me select new frames and lenses, and even worked with me to find a less expensive pricing option. Recommend HIGHLY!
