I am so surprised to see these reviews. I’ve been to Stanton twice now. I’ve always felt so welcomed and cared for. I just recently got into a car accident and my glasses were ruined in the process. The staff is so helpful at this location. I had little to no money , as I am I uber driver and have just totaled my car. They were able to help me get new glasses within my budget. These ladies are great. It always feels good to see familiar faces. Thank you Stanton. 5 stars for you

This is the first time I have done virtual. I was a little nervous but Jenna and Jan were very helpful. Still waiting on my glasses but that situation is out of their hands. All in all the experience was really good. My husband and I felt very comfortable and pleased with the whole experience ☺️

I lost my glasses somehow this weekend & was able to make a same day appt . The exam & wait time for the glasses only took 1.5 hrs combined. I walked out with a new pair the same day. Super grateful to the nice women there to help & for Stanton being open on a Sunday!

My name is Jeff Strauss. I originally purchased new glasses from a location in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. I took my glasses back to them multiple times and they could not get the prescription correct. Fast forward to this event where I went into the Janesville location to do nothing more than get an eye exam only. I planned to then take the prescription and order glasses from another company since my first visit last year didn't go well. When my exam was completed, I shared my past experience with Bianca (one of the managers at this location in Janesville). She informed me that I purchased replacement insurance and that she could get these glasses warrantied for me and that I would only have to pay the $30.00 deductible for the replacement glasses. I was so hesitant doing business with Stanton Optical again. Bianca assured me that she would handle everything and that she would make sure this was a much better experience. She stated to me that her location in Janesville was a smaller store and they have more control over situations. She convinced me and I decided to order new eyeglasses from the store located in Janesville, Wisconsin. My new glasses were supposed to arrive on the 25th of February, that's a two-week wait time from the order date. A few days before the 25th, I was calling with hopes of them maybe coming in a day or two early. Well not only did they not come in early, but I was also about to find out that this situation was going to be no different than the first time I did business with Stanton in Wauwatosa. On February 26th I was told that they were going to find out what was going on, I was also informed that the district manager was getting involved and that I would be updated. On February 27th I called since I got no phone call from the store and was informed that the store was going to send new glasses to the DDC (the Lab) and they were going to get these taken care of. On the 2nd of March I called again to find out again what was going on since the store could not reach out to me. At that time, I was informed that the DDC (the Lab) received the glasses and that " we were moving in the right direction now". When I called to get an update, thinking to myself we have to be close now. I was told that the DDC (the Lab) is making the glasses now. When I called on the 9th of March and spoke with Jen or Jenna, the store manager, she informed me that they should see the glasses in a couple or a few days, not sure exactly what verbiage she used. I questioned the fact that with the district manager had knowledge of the situation, the store manager and assistant all knew what was going on and no one could put any type or form of a rush to get me my glasses. So, in conclusion, I gave Stanton another chance to keep me a customer. It's now going to be at least a month before I get my glasses in which I could have had them over night weeks ago without any aggravation. Now I'm stuck. I have a broken pair of glasses being held together with hot glue; my neck is killing me from twisting to see my computer at work. and all I wanted was an eye exam but was talked into giving them another chance to let me down. I want to be contacted by either the district manager or someone else that can actually accomplish something for me. I can not put into words how utterly pissed off I am, and I didn't need any of this. Worst company to do business with by far. Your company will be out of business over the next few years no doubt. Regretfully Jeff Strauss
