I am very pleased to post a 5 star review for Sound Shore Vision. My experience with Dr. Rubinstein and his staff has been terrific every time I have been to his office. Dr. Rubinstein is very thorough with his examinations and always takes the time to answer any questions I have for him. I am impressed by his deep knowledge in his field of expertise and I always leave his office feeling that I have received excellent medical advice along with the proper treatment plan. I highly recommend anyone in need of top notch eye care to see Dr. Rubinstein.

Dr. Rubenstein, Karen, and Daisy are the best! I had cataract surgery, and I opted for the VisionLOCK Light Adjustable Lenses (LAL). These implanted lenses require an elaborate process of "dialing in" the prescription for each lens, after which the prescription gets permanently "locked in." Dr. Rubenstein was both very patient and very thorough throughout the process (which takes multiple visits). He also explained the process very well to me and my wife, so I thoroughly understood everything. We tried various contact lenses first to see which prescription would work best for me before the final dialing-in and lock-in procedure. It was a brilliant idea because what I THOUGHT I would like turned out not to be the case. Had we not experimented first with the contact lenses I would have been permanently stuck with an unsatisfactory result! However I never felt rushed to "wrap things up." I'm a physician myself, so I really appreciate the level of professionalism and care that Dr. Rubenstein and his team provide. In spite of the 2-hour drive each way from my home in upstate CT to his office in Mamaroneck, it was well worth it!

Dr. Rubinstein gave carefully gave full attention to my eye exam and patiently answered all my questions (I ask a lot of questions!). Additionally his wife was patient and helpful in helping me choose my frame (I take a lot of time in deciding) and other staff member was welcoming and friendly too. I would highly recommend their service.

If you are looking for an eye doctor, look no further. Dr. Rubinstein is a subject matter expert in eyes and he knows how to communicate everything to a patient. My visit there is always pleasant. The whole staff is both friendly and helpful. I had some questions and concerns after visiting an urgent care and he was able to double check everything and better explain what was going on with my eye. I left feeling better and more knowledgeable with a care plan that made sense. I recommend checking Sound Shore Vision Center out!

Dr. Rubinstein was incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable—explaining everything in a way both kids and parents could understand. The exam was thorough but gentle, and my child actually left smiling! I highly recommend this office for any parent looking for a caring and skilled eye doctor for their little ones.
