UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO OWNER: Blatantly lying about asking if I’d like an exam is insane. You asked me twice. You claim you wanted to verify if I’d like to purchase lenses due to your warranty, though why did you feel the need to ask me a second time after I politely told you it was fine and that I wanted to use my prescription? The second time yet again you asked if I was sure and wanted to do an exam. This is when I told you I was choosing to leave as it was incredibly unprofessional. I came in to purchase frames private pay with a prescription I already had. They kept trying to push an exam on me even though my prescription hadn’t expired. I politely told them no, I don’t want to do an exam, I’d like to use my prescription that is current since I still have glasses and my vision is great. Someone kept having the receptionist come over to me after I had told her no, trying to force an exam on me. I ended up leaving because it made me extremely uncomfortable. It felt like they were trying to take advantage because they knew I was private pay (no insurance) and wanted to get as much money as they could. Some constructive criticism - my prescription would have expired eventually and I could have come back to your office as a patient. This is not how you should treat customers. I strictly wanted to purchase additional frames before my prescription expired.

Great experience! My husband and I are new patients of Dr. Holt and this was our first visit to the office. From calling to make an appointment to leaving with our new prescriptions, everything and everyone was wonderful. Dr. Holt is very knowledgeable, thorough and very personable. Our eye exams went great. The office staff were very attentive and a special thank you to Melissa for recommending a pair of frames that will be just perfect for me. Also, I overheard one staff member assisting another client and she was very accommodating and caring, letting the customer know that they are here to help and she was happy to assist the customer with her adjustment on her glasses.
