I had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Friday. She got my pressure down on my eye which was remarkable. However, when I got home, something was in my eye and it kind of freaked me out because it wouldn’t stop. They got me in first thing this morning to examine it….which was awesome. But, the real story is that she called me back last night way after business hours to meet me down at the clinic. Who does that? Apparently, only Stiles eye group. Also, their technician is amazing as well. She makes going to the eye Doctor fun….not something to dread. I could not recommend them more highly!!!! I’m going with 6 stars🤘I’ve been to others, but they were nothing like this. Thank you my friends😊

I thought that Dr. Friday was awesome. I do take issue with surprise charges before and after the visit. My insurance covers all medically need procedures. At check i was asked to sign a paper verifying I would pay for a procedure not covered by insurance. I asked if the procedure was necessary. I was told I could opt out of that procedure. I did. At check out I was presented with $59 dollar total in addition to my deductible. I asked what the charge was for. The tech told me a procedure they had ran that insurance rarely pays for. I stated that my insurance pays for all medically necessary procedures. I then asked if the procedure was medically necessary. The tech just stated they would try my insurance first. Why wasn't I told about that procedure before it was ran? Sevaral days before my appointment I was contacted by Stiles Eye Group informing me that my insurance would not cover vision related claims for persons over 19 years of age. I politely replied my insurance covers my diabetic eye exam. They replied not if I was over 19 years of age. I answered that my insurance has covered my diabetic eye exam every single year that I have had the insurance. The diabetic eye exam is medically necessary. They replied, oh, its medically necessary. They said ok see you when you arrive. Sounds like its a circus in the front of the house at the Stiles Eye Group. I called specifically for a diabetic eye exam and it gets confused with a regular eye exam. I arrive at my appointment and wait patiently only to be witness to the girls club social hour in the lobby. The ladies to busy trying to impress each other to give what I would consider good customer service. We patients see and hear everything you do and talk about while we wait. Also I was not given my new prescription for my glasses. Its a weekend and now I have to wait until Monday to get my prescription. I am not sure if I wasn't given the prescription because I didn't get my glasses there, or because I refused to pay anything but my deductible until all the charges were ran through my insurance, or it was just a simple mistake. Like I said Dr. Friday was awesome but before and after the visit not so much.
Went to see Dr Friday for an eye exam. First time receiving contacts. Was charged $30. for her to help me put them in out of pocket. Received my trial pair of contacts and could see perfectly. Then when I picked up my contact prescription for the year after they came in and could not see at all. Contacted the Dr and decided to just return them and now she will not refund me saying I opened the box. When THEY wrote on the boxes L for the left eye and R for the right. Contacted my insurance company since she's trying to refuse my refund and waiting on my claim. Now I have to wait until this is resolved to go to another eye doctor due to the doctor at Styles Eye Group.
Dr. Stiles and Dr. Friday are wonderful, as are all of their support staff. They are organized, prompt, and kind. I would never go anywhere else.
My husband was able to be squeezed in for a same day appointment and it was a wonderful experience! The location is easy to get to, the front desk was very helpful and had insurance verified before we even walked through the doors. My husband said he has never even had some of the test they performed done and he feels very confident with his new prescription. The lady helping us with the glasses was very knowledgeable and helped pick the correct size and directed us to a section that fit our budget. As we went over the price she gave us a wonderful break down. 10/10 recommended this office.
