SVS Vision

This year was my third year returning to this location and my last. Besides the Doctor and his assistant, the ladies that work in the front office are the most unhelpful individuals I’ve ever encountered in this type of space. I won’t go as far as calling them rude but definitely unfriendly and unprofessional. There are behaviors that are simply unnecessary with customers present. It’s sad because my first year going there was a very pleasant experience. I couldn’t even get my glasses adjusted properly unless I wanted to continue to tolerate the reps poor attitude.

Receptionist did not understand my insurance card and aired that out to the entire shop. Speaking extremely loud as to her unsuridy of accepting my insurance. After an embarrassing amount of time discussing my insurance openly for the entire store to hear she was informed by another worked that my insurance was accepted. That was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. The person I saw before the eye doctor was an absolute gem. Very kind and welcoming. After getting my prescription the person who was supposed to help me spoke to me as if I was incomprehensible to basic human communication. Then she told me that if I got glasses there it would make my situation worse and that she "wasn't gonna sell me something I don't need". She also spoke loud enough for the entire building to hear the conversation. It got to the point where I had to put my hand up and just ask for my prescription and co-pay. Hands down the most disrespectful staff I've ever had to deal with. Don't go here.

The woman who took us back to do some eye testing prior to seeing the doctor was extremely rude. She was annoyed if you didn’t answer her questions in a yes or no format. She huffed when I asked her a question about a paperwork. She was so obviously rude that my 9 year old asked me why is that lady so mean. My daughter was already nervous going into the appointment and her demeanor did not help. Luckily the doctor and the rest of the staff were very nice and helpful but I’m considering looking elsewhere for care next year.

This place is killing me. I needed to use this location for a work related order so it requires a special trip. I find a sign that lunch is 12:00-1:00pm. That’s ok. I come back a week later to find a sign that it’s closed 1:00-2:00pm for lunch. This had me second guessing my memory. I came back the next day and it’s closed 2:00pm-3:00pm for lunch. So a ton of wasted time and energy, still don’t have my order (that I had to call to see was in). I would not assume a business of this nature would have such a fluid schedule requiring a call ahead to confirm they are actually open during the time they have posted online as their hours.

Took my versace frames to get adjusted and they melted my high index, anti-reflective lenses. Didn't offer to fix them for free or get me a discount on lenses because I didn't have insurance because they were several years old. I have in 1 visit bought 3 pairs of glasses from SVS all with high index, anti-reflective lenses, and all brand name...Coach, Versace, and Betsey Johnson. Never again will my daughter or I purchase glasses from this facility again.
