Terrible place . I have always went to the Walmart eye center and I regret not going there this time. The lady helping me with my glasses was of no help, just looked at me like I was stupid. It got so awkward I just walked out . I have never had glasses before so I didn't know what the process was , I made her aware of that and still nothing. The biggest was with get the contacts . They changed my contact brand , from what I have been using for 10 years to a brand I couldn't wear . From there it was just a hassle to get them to write for the lenses I can wear . The lady I spoke to about it was just ignorant about . She told me with your prescription and the lenses you had before , you probably aren't even able to see well enough to be legally driving , like I have t had the same prescription for the last 10 years and wearing the same lenses for the last 10 years . But because they are the professional, I must be so stupid to not realize that I can't even see , this whole time I have been legally blind in my contacts . I will be going back to Walmart, where I will be staying . Walmart has really good customer service and is helpful
March 18th appointment. Notified on April 1st of a missing package which consisted of 27ish glasses, 2 were mine and a third was my daughter's. Understandable, missing shipments happen. On the 2nd of April, our glasses were reordered. I recieved notice of glasses being available to pick up on the 11th. They were my main pair. Then again on the 14th for my sunglasses. Both times I requested an update for my daughter's glasses. The visit of the 14th I experienced a very frustrating interaction. When I asked about my daughter's glasses and I expressed that it's been a while and I was hopeful they'd be in with mine. The lady looked up on the computer and said they are still being processed with the manufacturer. I asked for more information and why would it be taking so long. It was then that it was blamed on my insurance, in a tone as though my insurance was less than. It was odd and extremely frustrating. This was one pair out of a total of 5 (mine, my husband's, our son's and our daughter's) I asked for more information as to why it was taking so long and they just brushed us off like we were a burden to answer to or that we were being impatient. Mind you we expressed nothing more than understanding when we were first notified. It is now April 24th and we still do not have my daughter's glasses. I called on the 20th and was treated AGAIN like my expectation of getting the glasses we paid for that were order "just on the 2nd" was a ridiculous expectation. I asked if anyone was available to help me escalate this or get me answers and the lady on the phone said "They were order on the 2nd. They are with the manufacturer. You will be sent a text message when they arrive." Short and with so much attitude in her tone. No effort whatsoever to escalate or assist. They value you only until they get paid. From that point on you are treated like a burden. I debated on just returning all of our glasses, but figured it would be too much of a hassle, so I am just taking my family to a new eye doctor moving forward. Hopefully my daufhters glasses arrive soon, but at this point I think I need to file a claim against this company.
Our first visit. Very pleasant and helpful staff. They took the time to explain what our options were when purchasing our eyeglasses, and filling out paperwork. Thank you to Stefan and Mariah for their help in making this first time visit easy and informative. We will be returning.
Having horrible eyes all my life requires a place to get it right! They are incredibly good at working with you to get the best possible prescription for you. They may be slightly more expensive than some other places; but you get what you pay for! Any time I have issues with my glasses, I take them back and they take care of it. If there is a price for the repair, they work with you to get you the best deal they can. (Remember being friendly to them is always recommended, they truly are trying to improve your vision! They really do know what they are talking about! Don't argue with them because you read something different online)
